Hearing protection! Turbine engines produce high frequency noise that destroys hearing sensitivity in those frequency ranges and once lost, those ranges never come back! I should know. I was a helicopter flier for years and worked rotary and fixed wing maintenance for more years. Protect hearing as though it won’t recover, ‘cuz it won’t!

@@charliemarren8724 Well, about that "as long as you don't miss anything" part. Isn't the whole point of checklists to not leave "not missing anything" to chance? Having said that ... the Bell 206 is probably one of the easier aircraft to operate, with very few items to remember.
das dauert ja eine Ewigkeit bevor dieses Fluggerät mal abheben kann .damit kann man kein Krieg gewinnen ..ich bin in Kanada mit einem Jet Ranger 2 mit geflogen direkt neben dem Piloten habe ich gesessen das teil ist absolut cool der klingt ja wie eine Fliegende Kaffeemühle ..ich schaue mir lieber den Start von einem Bell UH 1D an der macht richtig bock dieser Hubschrauber schön laut ..
