Sorry to be offtopic but does any of you know a trick to log back into an instagram account?? I was stupid forgot the login password. I appreciate any tricks you can give me.
@Justus Jaziel thanks so much for your reply. I found the site on google and Im trying it out now. I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
Moved into Heli reviews? You sir are now officially my new hero.. lol.... This will be hard to get used. The jetranger has looked the same since the mid 60s. Now it looks like a jet ranger and an EC135 had a baby..
@@MicahMuzio I was born in Santa Barbara and raised in Southern California. My brother and myself have been VertNerds since kids when my dad would take us to watch the old LA County 212s load with water at temporary LZs in back road intersections in the high desert when the San Gabriel mountains would burn. Many hours at Fox Field watching tankers load. Several teen years in Lake Los Angeles (desert craphole) where it was so far out that if you called for an ambulance you would Get what we called a "WhiBY" (white black and yellow) bird land in the intersection of the nearest cross street to take you to the hospital. I have some great old Home Video and photos of L.A. County air 5 when they still had the Sikorsky S58 and back when the Antelope Valley was patrolled by the L.A.C.S.D. Bell 47.. All footage and images that I am so glad I have now. The biggest single solidifier to mine and my brothers Helibond is when we lived in the High Desert in Lake L.A. we were riding ATCs (3 wheelers) on the Buttes out there which turns out was a desert turtle sanctuary. LACSD if my memory serves me at that time were running a Hughs 500 and it dusted us out, landed in the desert wash, got out and wrote us tickets. The best ticket I have ever been issued to this day. From that point on we were total helinerds.. SoCal is a very dynamic place to live and I miss it.. Anyhow thanks for the reply. Be safe and I share your channel every chance I get. Thank you..
@@MicahMuzio I really hope one day you will try the bell 429, its Bell flagship and I got the apportunity to assemble the 429🚁 Keep doing these amesome videos Micah and really happy that you replied to my comment !!!😉👍
Really wish we could see you fly the Bell 525 :) Hopefully, Bell can hook you up in the future! These helicopter flight reviews are beyond amazing and you do a great job covering them.
Isn't that an estimated $15 million aircraft targeting military, SAR and oil & gas industry customers? Not really a consumer product. Maybe corporate big-wigs.
@@JimBo-ho8qw it 100% is a 15+ million aircraft, would still love to see a review on it :) You acting like most of us can afford the "consumer" 505 which is over a million. People review 300K+ cars on RU-vid which is also out of reach for most "consumers"
I love it!! I'll put it on my Christmas list! Especially with the cargo expansion by removing rear seats. The quietness of the cabin is great. I love it!! Thanks for taking us on a tour and flight.
Love to watch a flight review video as well as car review. I like your positive energy especially with family. Haha Most of pilots are handsome and have a great sense of humor! Yeah I'm a pilot, too. 😆
Bell was nice enough to bring the 505 down to us for a demo flight here at Lone Star Helicopters. Absolutely a fantastic machine. One thing you mentioned in this video with the 505 is that the R66 required a 12 year overhaul which is incorrect. The only items required at 12 years on the R66 are MR and TR blades.
Hi Micah, good reviews on the r66 and b505. Next I think you should review the EC120. I think these 3 aircraft are all in a similar class and I am currently debating between the 3 machines.
Bro...$1.3M? Anit no family helo....beautiful machine. Flew OH58’s in the Army for 27 years. Too bad Bell didn’t go with a fully-articulated main rotor system...probably too much money. If only I have another $1.29M laying around! Operating costs/per hour?
The astar is much badder. However the jr x is much more economical and has alot of creature comfrts built in.i want to see an indepth comparison to a Konner k2. Which is much more economical i would imagine and want to see ab come out with a lighter chopper than the 120 or 125
Should ask about the CG on the machine, and why the adjustable weight on the tail...oh yeah, and the recent AD for a broken collective. Sometimes things do not appear to be what they really are. Ask a 505 owner/operator who has heli experience, not the factory trying to sell them.
At first, I thought that you were calling PALM Beach Tower, and I was like, “Cool, they did this flight right near me.” But then I realized that it was LONG Beach Tower, and I knew that at least you’d have nice scenery to show us. Flying around Florida is boring and ugly. That’s something everyone has to admit.
Please excuse me, I am a traditionalist, the 505 is very nice, but it would be much nicer to me if it had some basic steam gauges, switches, circuit brakes and generally less automation...
I am interested, and moved emotionally, to buy a Jetranger X. But I’m about a million-plus dollars and one rotary rating short. Can you help with that?
Good video. I just wish you'd have left the actual audio of the exterior shots so we could hear what is sounded like from the outside in the approach to parking. As one that has worked many years on the Bell 206/L and the OH-58A/C, the rotor system doesn't look to be that much different than the original 206, so it would have been nice to hear it to do a comparison.
What happened to style, My favorite helicopter is the Bell Jetranger 206 the cadillac of helicopters. I guess now were going with function rather than form the 505 is an ugly helicopter. Look around you ugly architecture, vehicles and aircraft, I guess it's a trend.
So you are going to buy one! body-color: Gray, Red, and Gold lines in between! you forgot about the gas mileage! and can you please show your GoPro mounting? you have two suction cups and some other tools in between I couldn't find them in Amazon!
You should fly my Win the Powerball or Megamillions lotto the Bell Jet Ranger 407. Told my wife if we win she will see 3-4million just dissappear from the account.
Bell Helicopter-The best. The many times Bell helicopters have been used by the film industry and in countless movies and TV shows, it should receive a Hollywood Gold Star just like the Chevy Suburban recently received.
The ease of operation via the FADEC, performance specs, cargo capacity, and ease of passenger configuration are all impressive. Not quite sure how I feel about it's appearance, and the rear seats look like they might be a bit uncomfortable for long endurance flights, but all things considered, and with it's reasonable price, and hourly cost of operation, it certainly appears Bell has a huge winner in it's stable.
Tim is an AWESOME pilot. I’ve had the opportunity to work with him and listen in on his instruction abilities. Great guy and awesome pilot. He knows a Bell product like no other.
Oh dear Gopro. Always lets you down when you need it most. Mine crashed on my honeymoon, stopped on day 2, started working again on day 14. Thanks Gopro.
Love your videos and how you go into all aspects but just wondering if you could including the hourly costs into owning a helicopter 🚁 in your reviews plz.
Great fly review! I always liked the 206 series, but this seems much more modern and pilot friendly. Next review, Airbus/Eurocopter similar to this Jetranger X?
When I went down for the Robinson heli course, I flew the same area for practicing auto-rotations. Kind of cool to see you guys flying such a cool bell in the same area.
It would have been so nice to not have a bulkhead in the 206. I always had problems loading in gear and people. It looked like a sweet flight. Nice view of the Dolphins. 🐬🐬🐬
The vote for "Donald Trump" Advertisement was wonderful. It's a shame you can't control them! And by them I mean people that see an ad for their president and call it revolting.
It's the same for me haha! Anyway, I found another channel that creates contents about helicopters and he is crazyyy, you'll enjoy his vids cause he's dope but also informative like this content. I highly recommend James Asquith's channel to every one of you here!
