I run a CAT 735 haul truck at work and an older D350 when we're a truck driver down. It's already easy enough to drive those and they don't have all the automated buttons the Bell does. I'd go nuts driving that thing. I actually prefer running the old D350 that hasn't got any electronics in it

i love them dumpers we have the cat 730/740 and they are great to drive

ran a brand new 745c caterpillar today. like it way better than the deeres or bell trucks

we've loaded similar rigs for export...I'm usually the 1st to install the red bar so the critter don't fold midair and do a dock bounce...exciting but that might piss off the customer...you know? didn't realize how much control the computer has...

First off thanks for showing us all of these cool trick new machines. My question is about the job site you are at. Wouldnt it be faster and more economical for a large dozer instead of loading and hauling the dirt 50 yards? I am honestly curious not being a smart ass. Thanks again

No backup camera. It has a similar control button pad as John Deere.

boy I'd hate that button stuff if i had to run it longer than an hour or two. not being able to ride it out? ugh. Still better than the old 7 speed cat end dumps I started out on though.

Amazing to see all those buttons on a African dump truck, they must have borrowed them from Deere. Seriously though, pushin those buttons 1000 times a days would be real annoying.

Looks like they dumbed it down as much as possible.

Kind of like a Burger King on wheels. You want forward, you push the button with forward on it, etc.

That control pad looks like the One in my 410k. I'm not a fan of all those buttons especially the parking brake.

All that fail safe crap may keep some wear down but sure makes it difficult for the operator.

what's the problem with a dump truck being fully digital... I see that as a plus, sounds like you complain bout it?

One of the worst trucks you can buy , after a year or so it will be falling to pieces and that button control pad is terrible ! don't know why they went away from sticks
