Outstanding what I see but was hoping for the guns to be in place. Would love to see it fly some day. The 39 is my #1 favorite WWII aircraft. Best wishes for success on this. Would be the ultimate dream to fly one of these.
a beautiful aircraft, little appreciated or overshadowed by contemporary fighters. But when you see the results in combat in its comfort zone, "Low level" and in the hands of good pilots, it was a machine that did not forgive its rival. The Soviets "Voyenno-vozdushnye sily, VVS" took great advantage of it and had great aces PS: thank you for showing these magnificent images
A lot of them served as advanced training for pilots stateside. They turn up in numerous pilot's accounts. If you're going to fly that fast, you have to learn how to make decisions that fast. As for the counter-balance, it was built around the guns.
It was just rebuilt at this time. At The Fighter Factory, we have learned that this airplane likes dry runways. If the grass is wet, this plane will sink it’s nose wheel and be stuck.
