I have always been bad about looking at price more than quality in my gear. I am currently looking to change out some and go with what is safer, not cheaper. Great review. Oh! and .... Bless You !
It has 4 vents on back, not "only two"...look closer. Just got this helmet today. I rode for a good three hours with it and I have to say it's the most comfortable helmet I've ever bought, and it's not even broken in yet
Nice review. This helmet is a good buy however my major complaint is the wind noise around the ears at anything over in-town speeds. Fogging is an issue as well but I've never had a helmet that didn't fog to some extent. Comfortable though and love the transition screen.
An idea for Thursday's video. Every thursday you show us a bike and explain everything about it to us. So we can enlarge our knowledge about bikes. Motorcycle Knowledge Thursday Maybe??
Howdy, I purchased a Qualifier DLX Blackout and use it on my HD Street Glide. I find it to be offensively loud. As in almost painfully loud. I rode in high winds at a tops speed of 65 MPH and my ears are still ringing days later. I have now added ear plugs to its use which is really disappointing. Other videos state that its "a little louder". My old ATV helmet was quieter than this unit. Very disappointed in its noise performance. All other aspects I agree with your video, spot on, but noise is ridiculous. I tried my SG without a windshield tonight with no change. I rode it with ear plugs and find it tolerable, however very disappointing as I want to be "that guy" with a helmet on a Harley. Here in Wisconsin, its about 1 out of 100 people who wear helmets. If anyone has experience with the noise levels, please add to this comment Thanks!!
Great vid. I just got one and it looks great but is so tight, even though it's my size. I can't wear glasses underneath it. Is that normal? Does the liner slacken off over time?
