Yep! We definitely need more first floor owner's suites AND more homes with the owner's suite on the first floor PLUS a multigenerational space on the first floor too!
Hey Amy. Like the front elevation. Different entry and spacious primary location. 1/2 bath a plus. Like the shower but would’ve preferred a lighter herring bone. Perhaps a gray tone. Nice open concept. Spacious dining area. Love the backsplash. Large loft area and first guest bedroom with en-suite. Great laundry room but different that not on the same floor as the primary. All the bedrooms spacious. Nice 2-story. Thanks for sharing and see you next video.

My husband edits the videos and has a TV background... so he uses a combination of programs but he says it is "nothing fancy". Final Cut Pro is the main program I think.
Not sure I get this design of master on main and upstairs laundry…once the kids fly the nest, I’ve gotta go upstairs to do my laundry? It looks like there aren’t any single story houses in here when I watch flyover videos…is that because all the lots are super narrow?
Hi Kay! Actually… I am so busy I don’t typically have time to go out clothes shopping, so I use stitch fix quite often! This is definitely one of the tops from there…. Thank you so much for watching the channel… I appreciate you!
There is a VERY high HOA fee relative to other community and the golf is all part of that. As to the problems of the past, I'm honestly not sure what the resolution was but I know that the builders like Dreamfinders coming in is part of that turning around.
Amy, when you say that it starts in the mid 600's, does that include the lot or they charge for that apart?. If that is the case how much are the lots (what range)?
NORMALLY we would expect $100,000 or so for a golf course lot. BUT, Dreamfinders will be building all of their homes here on "spec" meaning they will have the lot and design options chosen and the full price will be posted. At the moment they don't have any homes listed, but as soon as they do we will know more. In general, figure $100,000 for a home on the golf course and then add 15% for design options. Your results may vary! :)
That is an EXCELLENT question! Without supply delays, it has commonly been 9-10 month from contract... and 3 months of that is permitting. BUT, these days it can go 9 months to 18 months or even more. Right now we think in terms of milestones: Permit, Windows, Drywall, Cabinets, A/C... as we pass each milestone we can get a better idea of how close we are. Some builders are starting to build and not releasing homes for sale until they are much closer to finished.
Generally, if we didn't feature something it is because we were not able to. In this case, I believe they had teh construction office in the garage. We showed the back yard at 6:00 or so... but with model homes we try not to feature the specific lot very much because this particular home was not for sale. Many lots are different so we don't want to give a false impression that every lot would be like this one.
Yes! That is a little unusual and part of the reason that there are so few homes with laundry rooms on the 1st floor. It can be hard to to put the laundry room downstairs and not have it be awkward or loud... unless it is a REALLY large floor plan.
