Y'all that water break broke me. Also just gotta say RIP Laurent. Just a good guy trying to save Bella from a horrific sadistic death that from everything he knew was inevitable.
Wolves don’t like vampires though and he was on their territory. Plus he was gonna kill Bella for Victoria, which is why Jake was there. And Bella ends up being a vampire, so… It’s not like she was gonna end up with a gruesome death. He came off kind, but at the end of the day, bro was a vampire trying to kill Bella lmao.
"She's using you" in the books the deal was she brought two motorcycles and he'd contribute the work and she'd pay for all the parts and in the end they'd each get a bike. So more of a deal than using him.
Glad y'all are continuing! Love triangles are annoying as hell now, but I cant lie I loved it in high school and middle school lol. If anything I'm Team Charlie now 💀
I mean you can blame the female demographic for that one. Even in shows or movies that's geared towards boys and men they throw in a love triangle to appease and cater to the girl demo. Super lame.
@@DJZ64X ok put her to the ground. Shove her aside. I’ve read the books lol. He didn’t need to yeet her across the room to “protect her.” She bounces off the wall ffs. It’s just the movie exaggerating this to a crazy degree. Edward is shown car less over his strength and arguably hurt her more than helped her lmao.
@@3twelve206 Like i said he had a split second the time to act, so it's pretty normal she hit the wall behind them because he had to do something fast for the woman he loves, his physical state made a big difference because of that, good for you reading the books tho but those are different things and outcomes at some parts.
@@DJZ64Xor it never happened that way in the book. He pushes her aside and apprehends Jasper to prevent him from coming forward; the smarter thing to do. He doesn’t smash her into a wall and table behind her causing even more devastation. This movie made Edward look careless the way the books didn’t. Edward is aware of his own strength around humans. Still found the movie entertaining though! Cheers 🍻
@@Dai.Natreacts Bellas depression: So in the book they mentioned that the vampires have this thing where sometimes they find their mate for life. Basically like they find their magical soul mate and are bound to them. It makes sense because vampires are frozen in time, usually in pain for eternity. So the only thing that would fill them is an eternity of love. The majority of the time they fall for another vampire who feels the same way . And they literally can't be apart from each other. It's love beyond comprehension. And it's rare that a human could be capable of this kind of love. This is actually what every member of the Cullen family went through, Alice with Jasper, Rosalie with Emmet and Carlisle with his wife. It's similar to how animals find their mate and when one of the partners gets ripped away from the other, they both feel agonizing pain. Thats why Edward and bella literally couldn't be apart from one another. If he hadn't come back they would've permanently been in unimaginable pain and never would've moved on because they are fated to be together.
It’s not just popular for the high school crowd. I’m a 61 year old Team Edward fan😂. They made so much more of the Teams in the movies than the books. You mentioned the Volturi having red eyes. All the human blood drinkers eyes are red. The animal drinkers are golden brown. One thing that I miss from the books is that Bella had more of a life in the books. She even had a job with Mike Newtons family business. With the bikes, she paid for all the parts and gave one to Jake when they were finished. Riding bikes were their thing. Jacob tried to get Bella in trouble with Charlie by showing him the bikes. She was already grounded for leaving for Italy though. And, this is why Edward says “He thinks it’s me keeping you away “. In the books, the public story as to why the Cullen’s left, was that Carlisle received a position at another hospital in California. In the books, everyone is still upset with Edward for Bella‘s depression. Which didn’t make sense if he had no choice but to leave with his parents. So why was (Charley) so upset with Edward? Maybe because of Bella’s deep depression, and he seem to have broken off all ties with her after the move. The funny part of how I read the book New Moon, after the first time, was like this… Edward leaves on page 73. They don’t show Edward again until page 449. I used to skip those 370 pages until they showed Edward again.😂 I told you, Team, Edward here🤣🤣
In the books when Bella sees Sam’s pack cliff diving she tells jacob she wants to do it too and the day she jumps off the cliff they were actually planning to go cliff diving together because it was the first warm day in ages but Jake was late because he was hunting Victoria and Bella really wants to see Edward again and gets impatient so she goes herself. Also incase it was unclear when Bella sees Edward it’s not him projecting himself it’s just Bella hallucinating and she keeps doing dangerous shit because she wants to see him but it hurts to think about him but she find that when she is hallucinating it doesn’t hurt as much at least in the moment.
"Are you afraid of grey hairs? I think I'd embrace them" says the man with no hair on his head!!!! You lucky you got a beard, I can't fully clown you! 🤣🤣
9:19 she didn't bite him. That's the craving for her blood that's painful for him to kiss her. He'll describe how much it burns in a later movie but that's why he winces while kissing her.
Great reaction you two 😁😁! Her screams are nightmares and Edward was her imagination in her head when she’d get an adrenaline rush in missing him; the movie wanted more Edward and made her have visions.
15:18 the dreams, as she described in the books, was kinda how Eleven from Stranger Things does when she goes under to look at other people or beings. Like she's alone in the world and there's nothing but darkness and absence of everything.
Yes in the dreams she was in the woods looking for something and she gets more and more frantic until she realizes that there is nothing to look for and nothing to find and that her life is like over or something like that.
🤣🤣🤣 this is such a funny commentary. I was cracking up the whole time. The books left me with the feeling that Jacob was permanently in the friend zone but was fighting tooth and nail to come out. Team Charlie
Just in case, when they try to kiss is not like that turns them on (maybe a little) but that Edward is holding back not to hurt Bella and probably to avoid biting her 😅
The parts where Bella is seeing Edward it’s not him projecting it’s her imaging him everytime she puts herself in danger cos before he left he told her to not do anything dangerous
Bruh I’ve been catching up with y’all reactions and between the edits and the commentary I can’t stop laughing. That water break damn near took me out 😂😂
the screams are also because of the pain she felt when he left her. being dumped by someone if you love them enough can actually hurt. she even explains that she has an emotional hole in her chest because she feels so broken. in dreams I have felt pain and woke up from it. emotions can cause physical pain if it hurt enough. I also think the reason she was breathing so hard while being broken up with is due to her emotions going all over the place. I have been so emotional before that I cant breathe when something shocking happens.

And this right here is why people call these movies toxic. Pushing this concept of not being able to live without someone to young girls and thinking 'oh, they'll understand that it's just make believe'. No, they won't. Their frontal lobe ain developed yet. They'll imagine themself as Bella and want an Edward in their life and when their Edward dicks off because he's probably toxic and not at all faithful cause this is real life not some fantasy they'll try to kill themselves or be reckless like Bella too cause 'I can't live without him. It's either him or no one' and 'Unless I'm willing to die to be with him it can't be real love, right?' Just like Twilight taught them. That's basically the message. I'm sorry. I'm here for the laughs but these movies ain know shit about how to really love somebody.
@@secretlyadragon4723 well that’s the thing tho, if its a natural human psychology it’s toxic. But this psychology is supernatural, the rules are different and emotions are beyond human comprehension. It’s not normal for a human to share the same romantic love with a vampire in twilight. Its impossible. But for some reason she was able to. Bellas supernatural like Edward is because she’s immune to vampire gifts. This type of love is magical so you can’t really use psychology that much in this series because psychology is for a human mind. Mostly everyone’s minds in this movie(including Bella’s) is beyond human. They don’t think like regular humans.
Honey why are you trying to explain this as if it somehow justifies the choices made in this story? If Twilight was an adult novel geared towards an adult audience nobody would care. It would still be cringey and toxic in the real world but people wouldn't care as much because the characters are adults. We're not critiquing the lore, we're critiquing the choices the author made. Other authors manage to make romantic relationships between humans and supernatural beings feel non-toxic and relatable and un-cringey even though they're not technically normal. But to make an underaged girl severely depressed and suicidal because she couldn't be with the person she loved is a bad message to send. Period. And then the publisher also made a CHOICE to push this to tweens who wouldn't know better. The average audience for Twilight when it first came out was girls 12 to 14. And that is the problem with this series. Not that people don't understand the lore. All this stuff you trying to explain does not justify that.
@@secretlyadragon4723 dude there are multiple authors that have written animes, live action shows or movies that create supernatural relationships. The process of doing that is making some creative. Which means they’re going to cross the toxic boundaries of a natural relationship, change of a few things make it healthy in their fantasy relationships. And even in their fantasy relationships they can have can create a level of the relationships where it can be toxic. But this is not one of them. Yes bellas underage, 17 - 19 in the series. However her brain beyond the ordinary level of a human. She’s extremely intelligent and observant in the book on almost equal level of a vampire. They only show bits of these qualities in them movie. She may be a teenager physically, but mentally she is beyond the human level of maturity. And yes her depression was extremely depressing and life threatening but it still makes sense. The love that both Bella and Edward feel for each other is deeper than any other normal person and it's more intense. Like i said already vampire have a eternity of feeling hollow and alone. They are above everything and nothing around is on their level. Kinda like gods. They care for very little. So finding their soulmate, it makes sense that they became their main reason for existing. So of course by losing him the depression was more intense than other ordinary emotions. And Because bella is mentally different than any other human she was never going to truly fit with any of them. When Edward left it doesn’t matter who else was there to comfort her, she would’ve been extremely depressed for eternity because she lost her main reason to live. It goes back into that fairytale thing about falling in love and them becoming their whole world. The only thing I can give is that this series should not have been disturbed to 12 -15 year olds because they are most likely not mature enough to understand how relationships are supposed to go and might think that fantasy relationships are like the ones in reality. And this can be said for anime shows, live action shows or other movies.
@@Ts-lz1gjthe lengths you go to defend such a toxic, horrible relationship is insane. no one should romanticize bella and edward no matter the context, supernatural or not.
This is so funny, the look of concern is real lol. It’s true, there is much to be concerned about! (And I agree, the best place for a vampire like Jasper isn’t exactly one surrounded by children every day. It’s one thing to get used to it, but perhaps more gradually?)
we did a big group watch for these movies. and one home girl said. Edward smells like expensive cologne and Jacob smells like axe body spray. and every time this fool showed up without a shirt. I couldn't stop laughing because I imagined him spraying that ish. now underworld went hard when it came to werewolves and vampires. though the last movie was trash.
Team Edward all the way. Especially book Edward. Things are just explained so much more than in these movies. I mean, I still love the movies..definitely a guilty pleasure. But in either media, Charlie is the best (and most sane) character of all.
Ugh it still pisses me off how much this movie's ending practically spit all over the book's ending. I mean, Bella sucks enough as it is, but they really, REALLY made her vindictively worse in this movie. That whole conversation with Jacob at the end, with the whole "I love you, don't make me choose because it'll be him, it's always been him" crap? Totally NOT IN THE BOOK. She went from simply overly leaning on Jacob to heal in the book to flat out USING HIM TO THE MAX FOR HER BENEFIT in the movie, making him think he had a chance with her, talking about running away together, giving her time, blah freaking blah, and it was never even real. Even now, sooooo many years later, I HATE that they changed their final interaction in this movie from what was SO much better in the book. At any rate, as someone who randomly stumbled on your channel, this was a fun reaction!
1:00:32 these films man the ultimate bane of love triangles. some cool moments here and there, but the love triangles. Welp, Glad Robert is the new Batman and done so much more since, but i know him as Cedric
Heres some good movie suggestions to watch : Midsummer it’s from A24 lol , Insidious , Hush , Annabelle 2014 , Amyitville horror , Evil dead 2013 , Primal Fear , The Mist .. and The Others has a good plot twist you would be shocked . It’s so much more lol not all horror either but Hacksaw Ridge , World War Z , Snow White and the huntsman where the actor who plays Thor is in it and the actress who plays bella is in it playing the Snow White
Yall need to watch: Jay and silent Bob strike back. Basic, Identity, Meteor Man, A soldiers story, Panther, The trials of Muhammad Ali. Cabin in the Sky, The last Dragon, Beat Street, American Skin
21:50 that part was the nightmare. Just darkness. I guess during filming they didnt wanna spend more time on just a black shot of nothingness but it would have been good had they included her in the shot to hammer it home.
You are right, Edward as not good for her at all. Bella is much better in the movies than in the books. Coz in the books, she mad obsessed with the guy like literally.
sorry, gonna be that person. i'm not even female but i preferred Taylor Lautner with the long hair. should have kept that cause he really looked like a wolf with it.
Team Edward vs team Jacob is a lot less romantic and fun when you remember it’s just an argument about which of the two monsters gets to bang the teenage girl. The dog or the 109 year old man.
7:05 this scene with Jasper flipping out never made any sense to me. He goes to high school. A school full of girls. Girls menstruate for a week every month lol. There's always going to be a handful of women on their periods at all times around him. Yet he isn't lunging to dig in between their thighs :/
In one of the interviews , the creator was asked this question and she said it doesn’t smell the same . She said the blood smells “dead” to them basically .
No need to make a reaction of Twilight. It's absolutely boring and every time I had to watch this (because of my daughter) I fell asleep. Absolutely overrated and a waste of time.
Tell me you’ve never been in true love with someone and lost it without telling me…Like they died and you have nothing to remember them by but your own memories…
this movie is so fucking bad lmfao. i remember i read the books as a kid cuz i got kicked out of school and was home alone alot with my sister (who didnt get kicked out) and she gave me the books, and i was like oh okay these arent so bad. then i went to the premier with her and my girlfriend and as soon as the movie ended i audibly said "what the fuck was that" and everyone started dying XD
@@Dai.Natreacts just so you know i had my sister watch this and she was crying laughing at your meme of showing bellas 'nightmares' LOLLLLLLL this movie xD
