I feel like the problem with them is that they always have other things to worry about than their feelings about each other. I’m hoping at the end of the show they finally find peace and they get a happily ever after together

I always knew she'll be falling in love with him

She was supposed to have redemption for leaving him in polis, she never would’ve shot him after all that. She literally murdered him for the same type of reason. Jason failed us as a director and destroyed the realism of the characters. They would’ve NEVER done that
