Got mine today! After watching all those vids, I finally pulled the trigger. This thing has so many big and beautiful sounds. Blast a fuzz into it, it's instant smile on your face, it's a work of art.
i cannot thank you enough for basically combining my two favorite delay pedals, now i can keep my Memory Man at home and not worry about losing/breaking it.
I'm late to the Belle Echo party but happy I just bought your Belle Epoch Deluxe Tape Echo Pedal Original EP-3 - Silver. I also have the Dunlap EP 103 and Analog Man ARDX20. I love the old tape analog sound, and your pedal will give me more control over what I already have. You can't have too many echo pedals! Great videos and helpful.
Just got mine. Thanks for posting all of these vids. They’re speeding up my understanding of what’s possible. I know I’m going to love this. For those of you that think it’s to expensive, go buy a Fulltone SS Tape Echo. For the record I’d love one of those too. Cuz I’m a horder. My BED will way more than suffice until I can bring my self to fork over a grand for that bad boy.
The break up on the repeats is pretty damn good on this for not being BBD. I like it. Most digital delays in their “analog” mode, add a little mod and filter out the highs only. Nice work.
Cheers
This pedal is my go-to for tape delay. You will not regret getting this pedal. Only criticism is button labels are so damn hard to read....I had to create my own
Like the OG Belle Epoch, you"d probably have to back down on the signal level, but I'm guessing it will handle it alot better because its 22v internal converter. Should give it some extra headroom. I will let you know if and when I get it though :) In the meantime, I'm loving the regular BE with piano/synths. Cheers!
Hey Howard ! Loving my new BED, and....I'm curious about the decision to make the mode settings knobinfinitely variable instead of stepped. Was that an "available parts" decision or something else??
Eric Gordon , I’m wondering that myself. It’s completely strange and you have to look close to see where you’re at. I love the pedal but that choice of knob is just strange.
I have one of these. I regret buying it. It is nothing with out the extra 200.00 preamp. Even then I am having problems getting what I want. I do not think this is a real "Rock N Roll" pedal. Maybe for Jazz, new age. HATE IT.
Berta Griese there are so many videos out their for this pedal. Watch a different one. This guy designed the pedal. I get that it’s not for everyone but come on how often do you get the opportunity to hear straight from the source!
So, the CREATOR of this pedal isn't supposed to give a comprehensive and detailed description of his own design? Stupid and irrational comment. Or maybe you just don't have the attention span and can't comprehend a video manual. Stick to your 'easy' pedals.
