I’m so glad that they dubbed the singing! Up until fairly recently, none of the companies that dub anime were willing or able to have someone dub over the songs

This is the first anime movie that I actually want to watch in English. Kylie McNeil’s voice is just beautiful, and the whole dub in general sounds good.

Belle's design is STUNNING! I love how she is animated!

Kylie McNeil does a better job than could be expected and comes close to singing as beautifully as Kaho Nakamura. The French dub doesn’t seem as good. Of course ‘U’ further demonstrates the genius of Daiki Tsuneta

DUDE I WATCHED THIS MOVIE LAST NIGHT AND I HAVE BEEN COMPLETELY OBSESSED. THE MUSIC, THE PLOT, AND THE WHOLE IDEA OF THIS. ITS JUST AMAZING. I AM SUCH A NERD 😭

Just saw it in IMAX and damn, the opening scene really got my adrenaline running! Really felt like I was flying!

I'm a HUGE fan of Hosoda, my favorite film by him is Summer wars and this felt like Summer Wars' successor in every form, right down to the digital world. I could honestly believe that this is years after the events of Summer Wars and that U is the updated form of OZ.

When I went to see this in theatres I went blind so I was blown away by this opening number! Truly a amazing start to a amazing beautiful movie!

In all honesty the English dub is incredible both Japanese and English are phenomenal and the singers Kaho and Kylie sound identical that you think the Japanese singer is singing the English versions too, wish more English dubs were like Belle

Belle is one of the best movies I have ever seen. Many people state flaws about it, but I find most of those just make it better for me. Suzu/Belle is such a likable and relatable character. I could go on forever about how great this movie is. And it all starts with this opening scene.

This movie is an absolute masterpiece! My heart felt all of it. Truly special.

This song is gonna be stuck in my head for a while. And I mean that in the BEST way! It is really catchy, colorful, and cool. Can't wait to see the movie!

Saw it Last Night In IMAX Theater and it was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Totally worth seeing it in Theater.

Movie theatres in Canada have closed due to Covid. So I wont be able to watch this English dub until its released on BluRay or Stream T___T I was looking forward to it so much!!! Kylie's voice is just amazing!

It really is like the comments say. You just can’t stop rewatching and listening to the song.

I don’t really fw anime like that but I seen it in theaters just cuz , I’m really impressed by the animation and the songs In this , really creative. Though, I didn’t really fw the story , I did at first but once they brung in ‘The Beast’ then that’s when things went ehh for me . I felt like if they left out the the beauty and the beast concept , those two kids at the end with the strict dad , and those protectors in the ‘U’ world , and just focused on Belle in the ‘U’ world and Suzu balancing both lives . Yes Ik they showed that in the movie but it’s just my take .

They did a great job casting Suzu for the dub, Kylie McNeil sounds so much like the original Japanese voice.

Such a good movie, and they did such a good job with the translation of the songs to English. Both versions are amazing

This was absolutely stunning visually and the story line. Watch it in Japanese and the everything is subtitled to perfection. Also go see it in theaters if you don’t have a big sound system at home you will appreciate it way more. They use a lot of under melodies that you can’t even appreciate in a car.

Man this localization is outstanding

In the theater I was impressed by this opening. The same character designer that worked on big hero 6 worked on this too. Very Disney vibe. But I made people who went with me write a page long essay about what the hell the plot was trying to be lol

its so hard to match things when she is singing becuase she moves to the beat as well as aining with the mouth movements, they did a great job here and i cant wait to see it in english,

They put so much work into this dub it’s odd that most theaters are hardly playing it. Oh well I’ll see the dub when it comes to home video

I feel like the translators deserve a ton of credit here too. Not only is Kylie amazing but you can tell a lot of effort went in to crafting translations that fit the songs and lip flaps as best as possible. I want to see this in a movie theater so badly...😭

Despite some of the flaws I had with the movie, this opening scene was so well done and sucked me into the world of U. The small screen of RU-vid does not do it justice, it'll blow your mind when watching on a big theatre screen and sound system!

I already watched this in Japanese with Eng sub but this will be the first movie I don't mind rewatching again in Eng dub. The translation quality here is top notch and it deserves recognition -- especially the lyrics.

Belle blew me away. It moved me to tears. The anime is a gentle modern fairy tale of love and loss, and kindness. And the music weaves it together, it was like listening to a rainbow. Kylie McNeil’s sweet ethereal voice is so clear and powerful, uplifting with delicate strong notes resonating of Celine Dion. The music, the movie should win some awards.
