I wish I could tell the handler of belle, the beautiful English setter, what a wonderful job she’s done with her dog. The love between the two of them was evident. I am an English setter lover thank you for taking such wonderful care of this beautiful dog.

English Setters are bar none the best dogs. Elegant, sweet, family friendly, corky and spectacular hunters.

For non-hunters, a show English setter is a beautiful calm easy-going pet. There is definitely a "breed split", so people who don't want to hunt should look at that variety. If you don't confuse the two types and choose the one that's right for you, you will have made a good choice.

Lol I got the hunting one for sure. Their coats are a bit shorter and they will stare down just about everything that moves or makes a noise

I've always liked the English Setter because I had one as a pet in my childhood. There's something sweet and Christ-like about the breed.

They ae super gentle with everyone and enjoy a lot of mischief. I originally got him for bird hunting but he's an excellent companion in the house.

I am currently trying to help find 2 homeless English settters in Montenegro where people there are terrible to pets. Hunters dump them and they starve on the streets. Can these dogs survive out in the elements?? I’m worried

I have a setter, they can definitely survive as most young dogs can but i think they'll run for attention and food to the first person they meet cause they're so friendly and desperate to find someone to love so maybe someone's already taken them in

A very beautiful breed of dog. I have two English Setters and I love them very much. For Russia this is a rare breed. I respect people who love animals. But unfortunately, many animals today suffer at the hands of humans. But the first task that God gave to people, Adam and Eve, was to care for and monitor animals. But this disaster will not last long, soon our Creator God Jehovah will destroy all evil from the planet in Armageddon. Then the time of heaven will come, the planet will be ruled by Jesus Christ, with him disease, grief, hunger, wars and death will disappear (Revelation 21: 3,4). A happy time will come for all people and animals. It requires us to read the Bible daily and do the will of God.
