I've also been watching these like 6 at a time. And while the cynical tend to think that amusement park employees are disgruntled laborers, hired because they have a pulse and don't have criminal records, and who feign niceness while secretly hating the guests, that's *really* not the case with Disney. More than one Disney worker has talked about this; to be one of the Disneyland or Disneyworld characters you have to *really* want to be there. There's a ton of people who want to and it's a really long and hard process to get there. And of course, in these videos you can clearly tell Belle- and Merida, Else, Peter Pan and the rest - love being around Malia. You just can't fake that enthusiasm. I imagine they've talked backstage about how much they like hanging around her and maybe even fight over who gets to hang out with her.
