Excellent review… so thorough, well-filmed, thoughtful. I’m a retired designer with a love for elegant handbags ($600 or under). For me, there is nothing quite as exciting as finding a beautifully designed, wonderfully executed exquisite handbag. I was surprised when your video generated that same excitement in me about the Bellroy Lite Sling. I want one. I want to display it in my gorgeous handbag cabinet, and wear it with pride. Thanks.
This thing is great, it's honestly a pleasure to use, so simple yet functional. If you don't mind a big bucket or using pouches it's amazing. The weight is just perfect but it also feels really durable. My favorite sling was the Trakke Largo but that thing weights more than double compared to this sling and it's more bulky. The materials Trakke uses are simply amazing and top notch but they have a heritage waxed canvas tradition that is way heavier, but this is the complete opposite, feels modern and made with recycled materials, it's just great. I know the Trakke will last more but I'm using the Lite Sling way more because it's more functional sometimes and fits more styles. I just keep jumping to this sling without thinking and I have a lot of slings that I love. I believe this is becoming the go to EDC bag, I hope it lasts many years.
I have a bellroy sling bag and I think its very neat. I recently went on a bike ride and I use my bag to carry things I needed and I like how it just stayed on my back no sliding to my side or any issues. Now I would like to try out the venture sling. I say try out because if I'm not comfortable with the bag someone in my house will use it.
I think this is a good in-between bag. Sling Mini was too small for carrying iPad Mini + other small things. And the larger Sling is competing with my backpack. This size is just right for everyday carry such as light down jacket, tablet and such.
In videos and internet photos, the Ranger Green color looks deceptively light and vivid. I just purchased the Venture Sling 9L and was a little disappointed with how dark the color really is. More like a military green or very dark olive green 😔
How secure is that magnetic connector? I was thinking of using the Sling Lite as a small camera bag but I’m worried that that connector would come undone easily, and end up damaging anything inside the bag.
Nice review, i've liked it. When you put something in the main compartment that touches the sides, does it impact the rest of the bag? I'm thinking of getting this to put in a switch OLED in a slim case and I think it's going to be a bit of a tight fit.
Hey there I would recommend the Bellroy Venture Sling 10L. It would a “just nice” fit for this lense and camera setup. You can check out our video here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1SxOuUFN6Bs.html
HI sorry for the late reply. The Venture sling is not very packable as it is quite rigid unlike the LITE Sling. You can however pack it flat. They are however very different because Venture has a more robust material. Whereas LITE sling has a softer more light weight materiall making it easy to roll up and parkway.
I think if you get the bag in chalk color, you will need to care for it a bit more. Regular wiping down and remove stains will definitely help. So far this bag is still fairly new so we haven't yet had any experience with the color turning yellowish. Hope this helps.
Terbaeek. Very well describe and explained. Really love the Lite design and material. The price is also tempting. I've had a ton of questions as right now I'm searching for the right and suitable EDC sling bag for myself. Bellroy, Alpaka, or AER is on my shortlisted. Is it true the Lite sling is exposed to the rain as the water can slightly enter the inside compartment? Honestly, If nothing better, I would definitely go with Bellroy sling mini. Can u suggest which one is robust and more weather resistant between the Lite and Mini sling? The last question, I can't find the AER City Sling 2 on ur online store. Did u have it or if u don't, did u plan to get it? Looks like no local seller has this product.
Hey there! Thanks for watching! I would say that the Bellroy slings are not waterproof, instead the materials are all treated to be water resistant. So they are not exactly impenetrable by water. Under bad weather, I believe both slings would still get wet inside. The matter of which one suits you best I believe it would depend on the material. Lite sling is very light weight and flexible. The other slings have a more rigid exterior. As for you me last question on AER, yes we did carry it but it’s sold out. Definitely planning to order in more hopefully soon. Hope that answers your question!
@@ORIBAGSOfficial Really appreciate ur answer. Thank you. I'll make my purchase earlier next month. Hope u got the AER City Sling2 to arrive already. If not, I will go with Bellroy. Thanks again! 🙂🙏
I have the Lite Sling and I have been in heavy rain. No water has gone in even though there's the gaps at the end of the opening. However, it is definitely not waterproof, because waterproof means you can put in bucket of water and the inside will be wet. To me, the Lite Sling is very good in heavy rain weather, just don't submerge it.
@@IdhamIdris Hi, buddy. Thank you for sharing such valuable information regarding the Lite sling. Appreciate it so much. I also think it would do very well in the rain. I mean it's not that easy for the water to penetrate inside the bag, that's for sure. I just got the mini sling and the Note sleeve wallet at a very reasonable price that I really can't give it away. However, it's good to know about the Lite sling from the user itself. I can tell that u are really a good person. Thanks again! 🙂🙏
@@ORIBAGSOfficial Thanks a lot for the feedback. This gives me food for thought. i think i will take a look a the belroy sling 6L and this sling (sling lite).. maybe Aer Day Sling 3 too. This is my short list ^^
