The strap around your left wrist, what is that? Thanks for a thorough walkthrough by the way! 🤟

When I was researching travel bags in the internet, I was quite carried away by this item, but kept checking it over and I am very happy to come across this video. I am especially impressed by the section 15:12 going on as far as to uncover the gotcha! I share your thoughts. Thank you for this video giving me food for thought.

How does the comfort of the straps compare with the PD travel backpack?

Great points, particularly about the "slide straps" and the "Gotchas". I suppose with the latter, Bellroy were trying to give flexibility but I'm with you when you say that, with the 38L pack, you expect 38L worth of space mostly in the "bucket".

I had the same issue with the straps slipping on the 28L, disappointing to see they haven't resolved it

More recently Bellroy has been releasing their transit and plus packs with their revised strap keepers that do a much better job of preventing slippage. Also, I find the width measurement to be misleading, as the bag is actually significantly not as wide if you don’t shove a giant bottle in the holder (over an inch less wide). A lot of other bag companies tend to measure their bags without the bottles in.

Hi there, I am considering this bag for cycling daily commuting so I can pack change of clothes, food for the day plus the usual tech for work. Do you think it is worth it, as you mentioned at the beginning you used while cycling? I like the simplicity and materials of this bag compared to other more cycle orientated (like osprey)

So this is essentially a bellroy version of a one-bag travel backpack?

Can a 14"x11" laptop fit in the compartment?

Not sure if you do requests? I’ve owned the tahquitz pack by beoutfitter for a couple years and it’s my go-to bag for travel. They just came out with a 2.0 version. I’d be curious what your opinions are on it

Does small and medium peak Design packing cube fit in there? Or which packing cube would you prefer? Thank you very much for the Review!

If you haven’t checked it out already, Danny Packs did a review of this bag and he fit what looked like 2 packing cubes that were the equivalent size of the PD small and medium cubes, along with a pair of shoes, Aer Dopp kit and some other things in this bag. Pretty impressive capacity!

Would this count as a personal item on a plane instead of a carry-on? If it counts as a personal item, then bring a carry-on and this on the plane.
@FrantaBina701
@FrantaBina701 3 года назад
You would need to find really special airline that would accept 38l bag as a personal item. It differs from airline to airline, for most of them you will hit limits of personal item around 25L, but often height will be still issue.

@@FrantaBina701 I thought it would be too big for a personal item.

This one is already close to the limits of a carry-on size by itself. The only way would be tickets or airlines that allow 2 carry-ons

the maximum size for air canada carry-on is 55x40x23 cm this bag is 55 x 38 x 24 cm. i wish there was a video of someone putting this bag full of packing cubes and putting it in the luggage bin to verify

This looks like a nice pack, but there is no way I can justify $320 for a backpack that looks little more than a sack. Do better Bellroy, we know you can.
