One of the first reviews I saw for this bag had a segment where the host showed that this bag can hold up to 24 cans of beer. I bought it after finishing that video.

This pack reminds me of the Evergoods CHZ22/26! Mainly in the way the main compartment opens hinge style! Great review!

Nice review! I noticed on Krystine the shoulder straps look loose on top of her shoulders and come pretty (too) far down the front of her body. Was that because there wasn't enough strap to pull? I just had this problem with another popular brand. Looks like the straps hit you in a better place on the front but the pack, from the back, looks loose on you too. Maybe it's because I like to wear my packs high and tight. Thinking it might not be best for my small frame - though the length is right for my 17" torso (I'm 5'6") - due to the straps. I have yet to try a Bellroy pack. Someday...

@@PackHacker2 after a couple of weeks I ve gotten the best impression of Bellroy’s quality products once more. I love the form an concept of this bag but I still wish Bellroy had included another external pocket. On the side maybe, a little hidden, like the one on the Melbourne backpack. I know the very nature of this design is minimalism, but I’m not a fan of storing ALL of my smaller items inside the only secondary pocket. iPhone in the same pocket as keys seems dangerous for the former’s screen. The quick access on top is extremely shallow. My iPhone 13 fits VERY tightly. That pocket is great for glasses, pens, AiPods, a candy bar, spare change, a set of keys. I can totally see this bag excelling as a day excursion bag, or a in flight personal item.

The lack of a water bottle pocket makes this a no buy for me.

I wonder how well it can stand up by itself.

Its material is very light so it would depend on the object you store in the bottom of the bag. If its a little heave and flat, like a camera bag or a book it probably would stand up

@@misstubbie1313 I'm interested in a lightweight minimal backpack, so this is make sense. Thank you.

Notice how they don't use a hard shell glasses case. Sneaky because they know a hard case would never fit.

The Via was a purchase and immediate return. Designed for the cork sniffers. Completely overpriced for what it offers...and only a 3 yr warranty - lame.
