10 year sentence, manual labor, building and maintaining roads. He might even get a job when he gets out, if he learns something. We need to extract restitution and create opportunities for criminals to turn their lives around or we're no better.

Bail reform. Bail has to be granted in anything below murder and Pesonal Recognizance if possible. That’s what the law is. Judges have expressed their frustration with getting blamed for letting violent criminals out to terrorize communities when they follow the law. The people voted for this. They apparently didn’t understand exactly what the consequences would be. Now they know.
Seriously, the media needs to interview the entire police department, the chief, mayor, governor, the judge, and the people of the city to ask why is this idiot receiving sooooo much treatment. It makes total sense. You are under the impression that the "authorities" want to keep the streets and citizens safe. They do not. Everything they are doing is to demoralize and fracture the people. To make them scared and feel alone. The worse things get, the more draconian the laws (which only hurt the lives of the law-abiding) and the more funding they can demand. More goes into their pockets and the pockets of the consultants they hire while they accomplish nothing to improve the situation.

Washington state passed bail reform two years ago. This is the result. Unless accused of murder, judges MUST set bail as low as possible and release on personal recognizance whenever possible. Judges are getting tired of being blamed for this. The people voted for this. Now they are seeing the consequences.

Prison isn’t going to keep this guy from committing crimes anymore, he needs to meet someone who will exercise their 2nd Amendment Right and do what cops are supposed to do with people like him who never learn, play thuggery, and make a mockery of justice. Let me get this straight if this person already had an active warrant from 2022 how come he wasn't kept in custody was allowed to be bonded out each time other question is who keeps paying his bond for him to get out.
This is the result of bail reform. Judges are required to allow defendants personal recognizance whenever possible. They can only set high bail when a person is accused of multiple murders. Otherwise, if they have to set bail, it must be as low as possible. The people voted for this. This is the result. Judges have expressed their frustration with getting the blame when following the law. If the people don’t like it, they can file an initiative to change the law back to what it was.

He's a good boy. Was trying to turn his life around. He is working on his GED and just got a job. He loves all eight of his kids and has been trying to identify if he's the real baby daddy or not. He is loved in his community and sings in the church choir. That incident with moms never happened, those whit cops set him up.
Sentenced to 1 year but given 2 days in jail? That ‘justice system’ is a joke and it’s funny watching them pretend to be holding him accountable when they’ve failed the public and even his family. They continuously let him get away with stuff. By this point, his vehicle should’ve been already seized by law enforcement and he should be serving time in jail/prison.
