I like the way he watches her without watching her. Like when she's fixing her hair he's the only one watching her and she doesn't see him. But he notices her when no one else does. If you notice in a lot of scenes he does the same.
the way jeremiah is a whole BESTIE in this 😂😂 he just gives like “yes girl work it ur so hot bestie” vibes most of the time up until i guess the end of season 2. it’s interesting to see everyone’s perspectives on him and how they think he’s flirting, but idk i just don’t see it at all, respectfully hahaha
Idk i definitely see him being interested in her all throughout season 1 and 2. Theres so many scenes where jeremiah is flat out checking her out or just smiling at her all smitten. Hes always the one thats so excited to see her or hang out with her 1 on 1
conrad looking pissed while looking back at her is so toxic and the fact that he used that against her later on… always finding something and using it against her. team jeremiah
lol It’s funny watching Team Conrad go up for this scene because Conrad’s “jealous.” He didn’t get distracted by Belly’s presence, like Jeremiah who was immediately fawning over her. He was distracted because Belly was going on a date. Now suddenly he’s invested. Now he’s distracted and can’t focus. Just like he was in the books. Him: “I don’t want to go to Prom. That’s lame!!!” Belly: “Okay, I’ll take someone else!” Him: “Fine!!! I’ll gooooooo!” Proceeds to be a miserable date, and ruined Prom. Guys that want you because other guys want you are the biggest losers on the planet. They literally don’t know what they want. They don’t even know themselves. That’s why they are so erratic. There is such a complete disconnect from their sense of self. It also doesn’t help when they decide to rage quit their entire personality to spite their father only a couple months prior. This is the garbage y’all be gagging over? If you like it, I love it I guess!
The thing about Conrad, he has always been in love with belly. He wasn’t like Jeremiah who only wanted Belly after she become beautiful and didn’t want her just because his brother was in love with her. That’s why I don’t like Jeremiah and Belly together well that and much more like him cheating on her, getting easily jealous of Connor even before he got with belly, didn’t even help her with the wedding plans instead Conrad did even though he wasn’t the one who was engaged to her at the time, and more

And they r totally diff things the book and the show even Jenny said she wants it to be different so don’t think you know everything. Y’all r so Dululu. On the boardwalk Conrad took belly there when they were 13 and he wanted to go for another girl… so it seems like he only liked her the summer she turned pretty. 😑
