As part owner of Seize the Grey big question is did he benefit from off track and dream trip or is he maturing at right time as he’s put together two improving beyers at two different tracks. Sierra looks great but you get a short price and jockey change sounds great but is it desperation? Honor Marie is a great value with a jockey out to prove something and I have gut feeling on Dornoch who benefits from fierceness scratching
Do not hop off your horse Seize the Grey. I think that this horse has a very nice pedigree. Arogate was no slouch. I think his Preakness score points to the fact that he is versatile. Arogate was a speed horse who had serious stamina even under the duress of demanding fractions. I nail the Black Eye Susan Preakness double for $10 and caught the Preakness trifecta. Seize the Grey is maturing beautifully. The time for his mile race win at Churchill downs was better than than that of most his rivals in this upcoming Belmont Stakes. He was just 4 or so lengths off fractions of 22, 44, 1:10, and he came on to win going away. He romped in the Preakness with moderate fractions and a nifty 1:11 through 6 furlongs and couldn't be caught even if the race was a mile and quarter. Seria Leone is the biggest danger, being more rested. Seize the Grey and SL will be my two top horses, and I will use both in 2nd as a backup. I doubt that Mystic Dan or Catching Freedom will turn the tables in the Belmont, so I will look elsewhere for any threat to my top picks.
I'm hoping they will have workout video coverage again like they did for the Kentucky Derby so we can see how the horses like the track. I hope they do run Thorpedo Anna, she has enough spice to make the pace feisty. 😉
Im the first, awesome.Im still mad over forever young getting screwed by stewards and gaffione, this will bother me more than bafferts suspension.I now cant stand churchill downs. The derby has a black eye with me for years to come.with that i like honor marie and i hope sierra leone without gaffione wins
@@andrewcarpenter687 first of all,he lost by half length, would have won if not for gaffione, period.I take my money and racing serious.Churchill screwed connections and me,so you move on
Serra L. probably would have benefited from mile and a half but he’s the horse to beat, I think he will beat Feiceness at the wire,I like Mystic Dan but he’s ready for a clunker I believe fourth or fifth.
