How to belmont: Spam B while moving the joystick left/right, down, or dont tilt it at all. Smash attack when the enemy is stuck in that fiery stuff If the enemy is high in the air, move the joystick up twice, then move it up again while pressing b And now you're the best Belmont player

Castlevania actually was partially inspired by Jojo's part 1. You can even get the item stone mask if you try hard enough. There also several phantom blood references with items and interactions!

Not the original Castlevania's no. But the later iterations have several tie ins. We have bosses like Zephyr and a few common story elements. However the semblances are usually in the Koji Igarashi directed ones. Sorry, if it seemed like I meant a "full inspiration". I meant more so smaller things they have tied in during development.

8:30 - Simon could use the whip like that in Super Castlevania IV. It's more of an easter egg than anything especially useful.

@MetalKaden * True, but Super Castlevania 4 came out on October 31 of 1991 while Symphony of the Night came out on March 20 of 1997, 6 years after the release of Super Castlevania 4. The move originated from Simon and is more of throw back toward Simon than Richter.
