BélO chose to tackle a different subject with a less direct approach, thus the lack of support of female musicians and the struggle to make it in a male dominated music industry. Throughout the video "Banm Nouvel Ou", you see BélO, looking for his girlfriend played by upcoming Haitian rapper "Princess Eud", who is busy rehearsing and recording her album. BélO's girlfriend wants to be a performer just like him, but doesn't know how to tell him. She is afraid that he might not be supportive. BélO, in the other hand, doesn't understand why she is so distant and difficult to find; thinking that he did something wrong.
The video setting takes place in some trendy spots in Pétion-ville, Haiti (La Lorraine Hotel and the Irish Embassy Pub). The upbeat jam party scene is a move forward in BélO's fusion quest, but all the while keeping the Roots essence by adding some afro-Haitian moves to the mix by dancer/choreographer Nadia Dieudonné.
