Амаzing. I'm ashamed to say that I was in Bulgaria only once, living in Belgrade all my life. Which is, pretty much, just around corner . Bulgaria is beautiful country , with rich history . But, never visited Rila ! Or this place. Should fix that ASAP. Thanks for reminding me 😁

Hey guys, you are amazing. I am Bulgarian who lives in London and you really make me homesick. I haven’t been in Bulgarian more than a year and I really miss it. Thank you for showing the beautiful parts of Bulgaria. I know there is soo much mess in there, but it’s sooo nice that you focus on the nice parts. And yes you are right that many people here in the U.K. don’t know how Bulgaria looks like. They have very bad idea of the country based on the politic situation. When I tell my British friends here in London how beautiful Bulgaria is, And definitely should go there; they are A little sceptical.

It is incredible place been there 5 times. 21km from Belogradchik situates Magura caves, that is a place to visit if you ever has a chance. Bulgaria has so many ancient places to visit, it would take many years to visit them. I love Bulgaria, so versatile nature, people are friendly,.

This is something the people in charge of Bulgaria should do, but you do the job for them… My birthplace is Plovdiv and I was raised there. Now I live far away from it, but try to go back every year. Unfortunately, COVID has messed up my plans and this is the second year in a row that I am not going back to visit. The Belogradchik Fortress and Rocks are a UNESCO heritage site. The formations actually have names. "The rock figures are remarkably varied and picturesque with extraordinary aesthetic, educational, scientific, ecologic and social value. The rocks of Belogradchik are astonishing, not only with their age of over 230 million years, but also with the dozens of legends for the bizarre natural forms named after many of the rock formations. Examples include: the Madonna, the monks, the horseman; the school girl, the dervish, the bear, Adam and Eva, the fortress, the cuckoo, the Leo, the camel, Orpheus and the petrified wedding procession, as well as many others."

It's seems quite an unusual natural phenomena, but there are legends of it being used for similar purposes thousand of yeas ago, the Romans often build on top of really ancient ruins.

I know rock formations don’t sound cool but these are awesome!

Dear foreigners, welcome to Bulgaria, the most beautiful country in Europe ... Go around it all, go to all the amazing places in Bulgaria, and you will understand that there is no more beautiful and amazing nature than ours anywhere in Europe ... The only country in the world with four seasons with 3 months for each season, with so many natural resources, with so many mountains and forests and lakes, with so rich history, many thousands of years of history, we have everything we need, we Bulgarians live in PARADISE on EARTH!

You're always welcome in Bulgaria. So beautiful country that we bulgarians should be proud. So small but a lot of places to see which you can't see in any other country.

Interesting fact about this fortress is that is one of the few authentic ones in Bulgaria. Pretty unique. There are similar formation and fortresses in Saxonia as well, Bastei.

I live in the town of Lom, it's actually 50 km. near Belogradchik and that's where we make that beer you guys had at the end of the vid. Hope you enjoyed your pint, loved your vids so far!

You guys should get paid a stipend from the bulgarian ministry of tourism.

Bulgaria is full with places like this but most are not tourist atractions and they dont have nice roads etc!

You should check out Perperikon as well, it's crazy.

I've seen many people visiting Bulgaria, but you are the only ones showing this beautiful power place called Belogradchick Rocks. There is one more beautiful place in the region a kilometre long very large cave called Magura with it's own wine. I highly recommend to combine these two places when you are heading in that region of Bulgaria.

This video is great. This reagion in Bulgarian it isn't so famous with tourism. But there are unique places.

You can actually take a balloon ride there! The views are amazing!

it is much more impressive when you visit this place in slightly foggy weather - then you see the fog creeping between the protruding rocks. You can find much more beautiful views if you deviate from the tourist routes and get lost in one of the forest trails.

I do think that if it were to become more touristy they would probably not let people climb on those ventige points anymore... there were no railings or safety nets and you just know ... some idiot would get himself killed the moment larger crowds started to gather. And then it would have to be somebodies fault, and it would all just close down cause the gov wouldn’t want to spend the money to make it safe and pretty

Istanbul Turkey is the most attractive city to visit and explore in the Balkans. In Turkey you get everything that a traveler wants like sea,mountains,rivers lakes and specially hot weather and cheap food. In Istanbul there is Grand Bazar that you can find fake market who sells brand new fashion clothes and sneakers like Adidas,Nike,Fild,Puma,Rebook,Christian Dior,La Coste, Umbro, Tommy Hilfinger,D&G,Armani etc,etc. All this fashion clothes and sneakers cost less then 15$. I have plans to visit Turkey soon.
