This song just tells me that even though if you try your hardest you cant reach the end because the floors are endless and you have no hope meeting other people and Dandy is just watching your teamates turn infected until eventually everyone gets infected and only Dandy is the one alive left. You can see some lore in twisted Astro's and Shelly's description Astro: Overwhelmed by guilt and despair and put his griefs on others. Shelly: People around her just blatantly ignored her very existence. Dandy's World Lore is huge!

I honestly like how in this story they got going on you pretty much have no hope, no matter what you do as Dandy slowly watches you and your partners\friends fall to their inevitable doom with the help of our ‘friends’ he turned into twisteds to go hunt you all down, as you give him just what he needs. (Tapes, Ichor) It’s super amazing that you were able to do all this, especially in the song, and I can’t wait to see what more the game has in store for us in the future!

Dandy's world theory: YOU are a clone of the previous toon that got corrupted by ichor So we know that toons are beings that reside in garden view, and they all teach something excluding shrimpo WELL, what if behind the scenes, there was a top secret lab working on cloning the uncorrupted toons in garden view before it was forsaken, and by the time the cloned toons finished, alot was already happening and the cloned toons escaped, and the uncorrupted toons became overrun with ichor and became dangerous and unsafe to go near, and years later, the cloned toons returned to investigate on how to return the corrupted toons back to their normal states, but however, this would cause the cloned toons to disappear forevermore, and the corrupt toons would return back to normal, and so whenever you see a corrupted version of yourself, you are seeing the past version of yourself, now corrupted by ichor, and now having a mind that matches that of a mindless monster, while your mind remains untouched by ichor, and so when you get murdered by a corrupted toon, you become a disembodied spirit, forced to watch over the toons that haven't died yet as they complete machine after machine, and so when you go back to the lobby, your spirit will return back to where it started, stuck in a loop that can only be broken if you and the cloned toons find out a permanent cure to the ichor corruption Correct me If I got anything wrong Edit: I completely forgot about twisted goob, he's not a mindless monster, but maybe he just wants to break free from the ichor corruption Edit 2: I forgot about twisted poppy and twisted astro, they both are depressed and hopeless, with twisted astro's description stating that he's been overwhelmed by guilt and despair Oh yeah can't forget about twisted brightney, she obviously looks like she is trying to break free from the ichor

Apparently in the story rn Dandy was the one that started the "Ichor Operation" which presumably caused the twisteds to be born 💀 so maybe vee is in the right for wanting to replace Dandy
