You know a message has a lasting impact when a person can recall parts of it 12+ years later. I’ve watched this multiple times over the years and each time it brings me such joy. Thanks for this, Mike!

Mike's so funny but this is a beautiful story. I had no idea that's the real significance behind communion is this amazing sacred proposal from The Lord Jesus to be his Bride forever. Now it all makes sense. Taking Communion will have new meaning for me. Just when I thought I couldn't love Jesus any more this makes me fall for him all over again. :)

God is so awesome through this guy. Mike, you can't possibly know just how many peoples' lives He's changed through you, but I'm sure He'll enlighten you when you get to Heaven.

Now, I expect to get knocked for this; however, I had to share this. As a Catholic, I get to participate in this marriage proposal at minimum every Sunday and ideally every day, since Mass is offered daily. This is what the liturgy of the Eucharist is all about - celebrating this foreshadowing of the wedding feast Jesus has prepared for us in Heaven. I hope that we can all put our differences aside and appreciate with me this most amazing gift of the Last Supper, Jesus' marriage proposal to us

This is one of the most incredibly romantic, Passionate, intimate things I've heard. The Lord has really spoken to me a lot about His love for me in very similar ways. It's awesome how it's so personal- His invitation.

But, I felt inclined, or as he spoke of the Holy Spirit speaking to us, like God was asking me to watch this. I responded in faith, and watched&listened. Love this! This is deep. My next favorite song after Times is Beloved, used to be my ringtone. The funny thing this is traditional Jewish marriage very similar to an Igbo tradition in Nigeria, West Africa. During the time where the groom and his family come to propose they have a saying "I saw a beautiful flower in your house..." Lol gets me all the time. Not surprised though about the similarities, Igbos are called Jews of Nigeria.
