In todays video I went sea fishing for any species from the shore at Shoreham in West Sussex. I was feeling at little melancholy and wanted to go on the day before but massive storm made it unfishable so went the next day. My spirits were lifted as weather although really cold and breezy remained dry with a fantastic blue sky.
I was feeling very lonely when a subscriber Rob came down for a walk on the beach with his dog and recognised me from my rods, had a natter and arranged for him to go home and come back for a few hours fishing in my company which cheered me up. Winds NNW with a calm see although a little too bright. Decided to fish into darkness to try and improve our chances of catching a fish.
Used a very simple rig of a two hook flapper on both rods with two hooks above the weight. Baited with fresh dug ragworm and blow lug.
