Small ass club in Tampa Florida, had shots with Helmuth after the show by the tour bus. Greatest fucking band I saw in a long time and awesome, amazing guys.

@@JorgeAlvarez-kn5eq, they're just different. Behemoth sounds more epic and has deeper lyrics. But Belphegor is more brutal and straightforward. No one asked, but I love both of them.
I like Belphegor and this set is pretty cool. However I think the fast double bass parts could be a bit "smoother", which sometimes kills the vibe for me. But I can imagine how hard that is. Still a great show!
Baphomet: Your world a grain of sand I am the endless desert The burning horizon I am the aeons Beyond the pitch black night Time and space collide in me Baphomet Power absolute Baphomet Goat God Dominus I am the moment of eternity Your hearts, your tears, your lust I am the well The gaping abyss I am blasphemy divine Baphomet Power absolute Baphomet Goat God Dominus No force can compete No god be compared Non mortuum Non vivit There is only me In me all things become There is no god Where I am all things are gone My blinding darkness Oh, so bright Dualistic demon worship Baphomet Power absolute Baphomet Goat God Dominus Baphomet Divinity unbound Baphomet True will magick Baphomet Ego sum
The 2nd vocalist gives me major Cradle of Filth vibes from the POEMF era (in a good way!) Killer set though, despite how disgracefully hot it was that weekend!
A lot of their material is straight up Black Metal, but yeah a lot of it is Blackened Death too. One thing I really enjoy about Belphegor is they can have an album where there's 2 songs that are Blackened Death and then 2 that have pretty much no Death and it's all Black.
