The video starts after one of the hardest moves in this process - how to detach central air vent. In fact, there are two holes 2 cm deep inside vent, on each of its sides. Holes are around 3 mm in diameter. You definitely need proper tool to extract the vent without breaking the frame. Tool is "Hook 3438"

@@WERT2025 Thank you!! I followed your video precisely so far and have ran into audio issue. My AMI Aux port is in my armrest.. did you need to connect that to receive audio from the system? I trying to avoid any exposed chords :/
@@user-fh6wq5gp8z sorry, I did not see your question 😕Did not get it also. I can only guess. My multimedia works as AUX source for the car. But, real AUX port is free. I can still use it as usual. Sound will be routed through multimedia to speakers.
Hi, I also just installed the coika screen on my q3, and also don't have audio yet. I have ordered an AMI to Aux cable, will test it once it arrives. Another question i have is, is it only possible to use the radio with the original system? And when using the steering wheel left wheel button, it changes the selection on the screen next to the speedometer as well as on the screen. Can this be disabled for the screen? Thanks a lot!
