Love the video! I like the headlamp with red as the first setting. You can still keep your night vision without spoiling it with a bright light. Also like your fire kit and, well, all of it! You're obviously an experienced outdoorsman. Thanks for all you do for us. Take care, and God bless.
Can you feel the vibration from that train Drew? Love it. Seems cabooses are a thing of the past. Don’t see ‘em much anymore. Probably no need for them these days. Cool belt pouch! Real nice job you did on it. You have that beauty chock full of essentials. Cool neck knife you made from the broken Old Hickory knife. Great way to improvise/recycle. “Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without.” I like that little head light too. Gonna get me one. Can’t have enough fire starting equipment. Ever see the series “Alone?” Which contestant can last the longest in certain harsh environments. Couple of Dudes were done as soon as they lost their fire starters. Quit after looking all day for the lost ferro-rod. They weren’t very good at bow-drilling to get a fire. Love seeing all the different equipment you carry. Good chance to give others ideas about what to have to survive in the woods. 👍🏻 Love seeing the knuckleheads playing! Rino-tracker, what a beast. Would love to see the new knife you have coming from Hobo Forge. Nice video Drew. Enjoyed it very much. Take care & catch ya later. “See ya!!” 👍🏻💪🏻🇺🇸☘️
I can feel that train coming well before anyone else I might be with. Yes, I have watched some of "Alone" good show. I remember a guy who is a RU-vidr now losing his Ferro rod and giving up, I would have tried my heart out to get a bow drill fire going and tried not to give up. I guess you never know until it happens. Jason from Hobo Forge is an awesome bladesmith. I hope we start working on the new blade by this coming Spring. Wish it was sooner but I have to practice Patience 🥹😭 hahaha. I have an idea for a big time fire making video I'll probably attempt soon. Gotta get in the zone for that one ;) Good talking John, take care 💪🏻🇺🇸🤙🏻
Love the shots of the coal train!! That’s authentic Applachain? (Spelling)? I have never been there but looks great. Love the belt pouch. Perfect size. The train track looks like an excellent and discrete access point into the woods. 🇺🇸 🇳🇿
Yes David! I'm in the thick of Appalachia, Eastern Tennessee. It is spelled Appalachian (you were close brother). I appreciate you watching from the other side of the globe. Take care!
@@MountaincraftOutdoors thanks Brother. I spend a lot of time in the woods here in New Zealand but it’s more of a rain forest. Your belt kit is well sorted. This morning I ordered one of those WC Collins knives (Slim model) so looking forward to that!
Those are 2 awesome dogs you got there! Love the way they responded right away to your whistle! Whats the model of that SaK. Looks like a Ranger 78... but which model?
You wouldn't happen to be related to Ted DiBiase "The Million Dollar Man" would you? You probably don't even know what I'm talking about. He was a wrestler from way back in the 90's, hahaha.
Great pouch and kit! Youve got handywork there in that pouch, little knife and sheath. Lovein it. I just liked and subbed. Gonna watch more. bsd here. Hey what's the brand on them boots? Looks like they're comfortable. I've been looking for a good pair of boots. My old Timberlands were great, recently got a new pair and they were horrible causing me a major foot problem. Need some new boots. What kinds are the ones you wearing?
Appreciate it! Georgia boots my friend. I get em used at a shoe store called Beatys shoes. I think they're a floor model they sell half Price. Always have some pairs I'm there. Breaking in some jungle boots at the moment. It's hard to find something that'll hold up.
