This is beyond amazing. What an amazing mesmerising tune and great dancing. Perfection.

Loved this take on the Beltane with that "border" morris. Loved the music too. Nicely done.

loved it and certainly brings Beltaine to mind when played loved to see that it was not forgotten that women are important in the eternal dance between the wild, naughty and the catching of the fresh nymph of life loved it xxx

Beautifully done with comparitively gentle music to the usual strong melody and heavy beats of border. Very nice.

It was written by our former Lead Fiddle player Jackie. Its not commercially as sheet music available Im afraid. It is on our cds :)

About 10 years ago I helped do a tv programme for denham studios (BBC southwest ) about a group like this ( I was the sound recordist ) .... its got me wondering if it is the same group. Definately the same area. We done interviews on the history of it etc.... and they were great people to talk to. Forgot about it all till I see this.... thanks for bringing back some forgotten memories.

I am a music teacher who does a huge dance/movement program in the spring with my 5th graders. We would love to do this dance! Can you tell me where I can find the music? Gods living in the earth hear us! Really primal sound to the tune. Rudimentary lyric with basic 5ths. Fancy it because of the catchy way the B part to A part comes in half a beat earlier.

Fascinating to see the dancers all blacked up and using the masking traditions of the Black Moors of Africa and still adopting their stick dancing traditions.
