Just looked at a video of a real Mini Gun M134, which you can shoot for $250/100 rnds in Las Vegas. They have other f.a. guns you can fire as well. I'm going to include the real mini gun being fired (it's in slow motion but it doesn't matter), see if YOU can tell the difference (you will). Notice also that she's shooting a civilian illegal gun for one but it doesn't show her hitting anything. I actually rewatched and rewatched this video, and while there are things that don't make sense, something IS feeding through the belt. I just couldn't see it moving at 1st. The muzzle flash and sound could be real, it's just that the ejected casings are coming out so fast, they may look fake. The sound, sounds real as well. The only thing I'm having an issue with is the lack of recoil (however, from what I've seen AND read, the M134 recoil really isn't too bad. It kind of spins you slowly, but it doesn't jerk back with each round obviously, due to thw speed with which it fires. So I'm stuck on this one. She xould actually be in Las Vegas at the place I included a link to. Check out the original, youtube video and compare it with the links I included and reply (if you'd like to) with your opinion on whether the videi is real, or if it's a photoshopped hoax. It's because there blank rounds, No lead being sent down range if there was she's would've been spun to the right because of the high gas pressure leaving each barrel as it is fired and the bullet leaves the barrel
Well, if I recall correctly the mounted minigun is a 50cal, so you would need super human strength to do that, this one fires an intermediate rifle round, 5.56mm so it's basically like having six AR-15 barrels on a motorized action. You could probably put a shoulder stock on it for greater accuracy.
@nikolai 1939 firing blanks with a slowed fire rate, the centrifugal force of those barrels turning at full speed would injure the shooter, and the recoil would probably pick the shooter up off of the ground if firing live rounds. Then there is the fact that the battery required to power the thing is too heavy to carry, that's why this one has an exension cord running from the gun off camera. This is a prop gun for movies, not a weapon.
@@jero37 there is only one kind of minigun, the M134 in 7.62 Nato, none are in .50 cal though. The 3 barrel Gau 19 is a .50 cal and is a rotary machine guns like the "minigun" but It isn't a minigun ss the minigun is the name of the M134. They also made the M214 Microgun which is in 5.56 Nato, its just the smaller version of the M134.

@@PilotTed not at 6,000 rounds per minute, the recoil would launch you. An actual 214 fires at 6,000 rpm, 100 rounds per second. A human can't stay standing with that much recoil, and with the barrels turning 3 times faster, yes the rotational force of the barrels would be too much to hold on properly.
