Welcome to Hikeaholics, Chay here!
This is an 11 mile circular walk starting and finishing in the village of Belton, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.
We will pass through and alongside 6 villages as we meander along the Norfolk and Suffolk borders.
The villages of Belton, Fritton, St. Olaves, Ashby, Lound and Bradwell will be encountered.
We will take in aspects of the well-known and long distance hiking trail, Angles Way a
couple of times.
There’s an opportunity to view three Grade 2 Listed Buildings and even a Grade 1 Listed Building in the shape of the church of St. Mary’s in the village of Ashby
Hiking distance: 11 miles
Hiking duration: 3.5 hours
Hiking speed: 3.5 mph

What a lovely walk. Great weather for it too. I've lived in Belton since I was three months old, I'm now nearly 60. Haven't done that actual circular walk, but I've done a lot in the area. Think I'll give this one a try. Amazing that you came so close to that swan on sandy lane. Such a lovely hike, thank you for taking us along.

It’s at its best soon, with lots of wildlife and wild flowers . One of my favourite walks in Norfolk & it’s on my doorstep, as I was born in Belton and moved to Burgh Castle and then moved back to Belton. We are so lucky to live where we do. Enjoy your walk !
