The Lockenbubi yeah but at least bvs had some pretty cool ass scenes with Batman and at least he is supposed to be dark and gritty unlike superman. but JL is just Batman being dorky for the sake of being dorky
burntheashesband then can you explain why the movie was so polarizing among critics, fans, and audiences? The problem is not the dark tone and that stupid ass claim that Disney is paying people off which shows that these fake ass dc fans refuse to take criticism
The problem was due to its bad characterization of dc’s iconic characters, the terrible script, and it’s just a boring, long and empty as hell movie with an overtly dark and grim tone. Even the dark knight at least had some lighthearted moments to balance out the dark themes. like a dark tone is not a bad thing, it could work if done right, but bvs just doesn’t, it is just a boring, joyless, and beautiful looking mess that is so polarizing among everyone when it comes to the theatrical cut of the film. I am not saying dark and gritty reboots should not exist, I am saying that it could work if done right! While there are some that worked well like Batman begins and battlestar galactia but while some others resulted in disastrous results like some that wouldn’t and shouldn’t! Like the most infamous of them all were shadow the hedgehog, bomber man: act zero, and man of steel
You know, I had heard all the criticism before ever watching the movie, yet I tried to watch it with an open and unbiased mind. After watching it, I loved it. I looked at people's issues with the movie. Some I found legitimate others not so much. I feel the biggest issue was not the tone but rather that it is bloated. The dark tone I not only enjoyed, but found very refrshing. it fits the cynical version of batman that is featured here. and it's a nice break from the tone Marvel has really been going for lately. No cheap laughs for the sake of cheap laughs. PS no hate on Marvel I love both franchises
Can't believe I'm gonna watch him for the last time in the Flash. Sad because he had the potential to be the best Batman ever. I'll miss you Batfleck :'(
Is it really true that he won't ever do big movies like this anymore? I mean we got the Snyder cut. But I heard that he also didn't like his experience playing as Batman so I think we're less likely to get a Batfleck movie.
@@aliasred28 really? I heard that he didn't like playing batman since he didnt feel like batman. He felt like a guy doing stunts and lines with a motion capture suit
@@elicas2243 Battinson's theme is so sick it always gave me chills but this theme is so menacing and badass just what the criminals expect from the batman.
I will forever dream of how that Batman vs Deathstroke movie would have been like now that Batfleck is gone. That epic final battle of the film pitting Ben Afleck against Joe Manganiello with this theme playing in the background. WB I will never forgive you!
@Migle Wazowski lol Affleck is not even close to Pattinson in terms of acting. So Pattinson can give the performance that Affleck can never even dream of, keep crying boi

I doubt they'll use this theme again. It's too villainous (which is his character arc in BvS), so at the very least we might hear the melody but in a more heroic tone.
Probably should be. When the director change happened they changed composers too. It was originally Junkie XL who co-composed BvS with Hans Zimmer doing the justice league soundtrack.
It's so heartbreaking to hear this now knowing that Ben Affleck is no longer the Batman😭 Edit: YEAH! he's back! still kinda sucks to not have his solo Batman movie
As much as i love christian bale's batman ..i must admit .. this Guy is the batman . He is comic accurate, a fast , huge , agile, much older experienced abd physically Gifted of all the Batman . This guy just needs his solo moive already
@@untidycursor_6347 no, batfleck ruined his character as a whole. he doesnt deserve shit. snyder completely changed what batman is for media. hopefully the upcoming batman movie changes batman from a killing machine to an actual superhero
I still can't believe they wasted an entire era of film Batman when they still had Affleck. We should've gotten a solo movie between 2015-2019. What the fuck were they thinking
Dear Santa, For Christmas I don’t wish for family, friends or any fancy presents. I only want one thing. An HBO max limited series with Ben Affleck as Batman.
It is a crime that this theme by itself is not part of BvS album. Anther crime is that it will not be used again for batman since old DC universe is dead.
Holy shit,if this batman met the joker of the dark knight..honestly this has got to be the best batman ever, long live batfleck...also the fact that this batman is a nightmare to nolan's bane. christian bale's batman was broken in half by bane..but affleck's batman will break bane into pieces.
Do you realize that Bane being the one who breaks Batman in a half is the sole reason why he was created, and if Affleck's Batman was in that story, he'd go by the same fate?
Well that makes some sense, since nolan admitted that the fact the tdk trilogy was realistic, what if batman was real. yeah i can go with that, but i said that what if the comic book batman/ batfleck met the tdk rises bane. that was my point..we all know how it'll go,take the warehouse fight scene for example.
I wasn't talking about their power levels. Bane breaking Batman in a half is part of the plot and part of the character. He has to break Batman because the plot requires him.
Yeah i know that,it has became a huge moment in the batman story, but i told that as a moviegoer who enjoys seeing batman thrashes everyone in under 5 mins...,i guess.
Imagine in the end credits of the snyder cut, we follow the camera into the batcave until we see Bruce in his chair typing up something. This music starts playing. As the camera zooms in, we can see that its the Batman's contingency plans against the rest of the League.
That can happen if this was BvS batman or before that (In 20s or 30s) but this batman got his redemption now league is not just a team, league is his family now.
Hans Zimmer nailed it on this piece for Batman.... And for the man of steel epics as well....... For me.. affleck batman is the best.... It focused on the brutal nature of the batman... That hidden beast ..... That anger ...... That vengeance that the other batmen never had ....... I like this brutal batman.... Unfortunately, WB are a bunch of $ holes.
Actually - this was Junkie XL (Tom Holkenburg) - who did the Batman music for this film. Hans zimmer handled the Superman portion of the score - he didn’t want to copy himself from The Dark Knight films so had Junkie take on Batman.
I love how this theme sounds less heroic and more like a nightmare creature. Batman used to be seen as a monster, but that image perpetuated for so long that he actually became one
Imagine in Ben Affleck's Batman movie( if ever made), Batman's in Arkham Asylum to interrogate his past villains and then Deathstroke jumps in and with other villains he takes on Batman, and this theme goes on in the background . it would have been something else entirely.
The sound of Fear, extreme Agony, Pain, Suffer and Torment all in one theme. This theme is way Darker than any character's theme ever produced by DC Comics, yet It fits Affleck's Batman well and that's how Batman should be, neither heroic nor evil but Brutal, Violent, and full of Punishment! A Vengeance in the Night and evil's Nightmare when you need him, a pure being and creature of the Dark and Legendary that delivers both Justice and Annihilation to all who wronged the innocence and righteousness alike. He is the Darkness Light, a light that never glows but burns bright deep in the hearts of evil, and let his evilness destroy the very soul of the Devil himself. He is the Night, He is Vengeance! He is Batman!! PS- the only theme from another DC character that has ever come close to this one is possibly the Shadow's. Freaking sinister and legendary too!
Ikr? His first scene was he branded a criminal. In the end, he did not brand Lex Luthor At first he wanders among the fields near Wayne Manor with no road or path In the end, he walks out from the cemetery across the fields on a path.
listening to this theme really makes me think of Batfleck's character and how this version of Batman actually has been fighting crime for 20 years. The theme really gives it a "Gotham City vibe" with its dark, always raining, big buildings with neon lights, and the streets are full of thugs vibe. And you can also think of how many of Batman's villains has he faced in those 20 years, really all I can think of with this theme is how he's actually faced the Joker, Riddler, Two-Face, Poison Ivy, and the lot.
Man I remember thinking (in 2016) that next 10 years+ would be a larger DC universe building and a trilogy of Ben Affleck Batman movies....it’s devastating that never happened tbh, cause he was THE BATMAN, everything in BVS, Suicide Squad, and ZACHS JL was fantastic! #restorethesynderverse
This theme speaks out- 'I've had enough of this shit'. We should know this events took place after batman lost his original robin. He stopped pulling punches after that.
