Started watching for Paxton, but stayed for Ben

They both balance each other out. Plus he was all in even for a long term and long distance relationship, had even the future planned out with devi. He is smart, goal oriented and shares same passions and interests as devi who is also smart so they both can have intellectually stimulating conversations and grow together in their careers coz he is supportive as a boyfriend so wont hold her back. Infact he is hella supportive and not embarrassed to acknowledge their relationship, he isnt the type to only call her when he needs somthing from her, but is also there when devi needs moral support, infact he even let her in his house when she was homeless. Plus her kisses with him are hella more intense lmao. Ben is more heroic and supportive and although he has a vengeful streak he was still a good friend to her after she ran out on him and cheated on him. They are end game. Hopefully they will end up together.

I'm team Ben because the way their relationship was brought up was way more realistic and I feel like it would be way more in the end rather than Paxton but at first I was Paxton and Devi because he's a bad boy and physically helps Devi which I thought was better than helping someone mental health and Paxton expresses himself way too much like Devi and that can turn toxic really quickly while Ben is a little more reserved. I know they will eventually be together or not but this relationship has a lot of potential rather then Devi and Paxton in the end.

Sooo after watching Ben face whenever he has the chance to actually let his feelings show I’ve deduced he doesn’t give a flying tuck about Aneesa. He was just trying to get over Devi and thought because Aneesa is Indian she’d replace Devi easily. But Aneesa is nothing like Devi. Hence, he wants Devi back. He’s in love with her. The pained look in his eyes isn’t like, that’s pure love and longing.

As they started dating he was all in for the relationship until he found out about being one of devi's 2 boyfriends and she chased after paxton and left him behind not giving a shit about him (altough at some point you cannot blame devi 100% for this as paxton got hit by car), however you cannot expact ben to be nice to devi after she cheated on him however I admire him as he still cared about her even after everything.

If I'm being honest, I ship Devi and Ben. Although after season 2 I did find Paxton's and Devi's relationship cute, Ben and Devi would have a much more stable relationship, here's my reasoning: - There wouldn't be as much toxicity. - you might think that Ben and Devi would be more toxic than Paxton and Devi, but it wouldn't. Ben and Devi were rivals, but they never hated each other, and it was a mutual rivalry. Paxton and Devi have gotten into much more *serious* fights than Ben and Devi and constantly had some sort of drama going on. Ben and Devi didn't really have serious drama. - Ben cares for Devi more than Paxton. - Paxton was always embarrassed of Devi. He had NEVER showed that he was her boyfriend until the very last episode of season 2, whereas Ben was never embarrassed of her. When they were together, he had no problem showing that they were lovers. This kind of goes along with the toxicity part. - Ben also has done much more than Paxton. Sure, Paxton got her out from a few parties, but did he really do anything that might risk himself or his reputation? Other than openly expressing she was his girlfriend, nope. Ben had risked so much just to make sure she could spread her dad's ashes. On top of that, he had stayed the entire time to make sure she was okay. - Their dynamic would be much better. - You may say that "opposites attract", however, it's kinda unoriginal. It's a basic story that many shows/movies have done before: the popular kid falls for the nerdy kid. Paxton feels like the obvious choice, handsome, popular, sporty, etc. but I would love to see Ben and Devi. It would almost be enemies to lovers, except that they weren't necessarily enemies. Now I wouldn't call them friends at the start, but they never hated each other and never did anything really bad to each other. Plus, Ben and Devi, since their personalities are so alike, they could understand and relate to each other better. Like Devi said, "Ben gets my brainy side, and Paxton gets my horny side." I say go for someone who gets you rather than someone who's hot. I know nobody will read all of this and I know nobody cares, I just felt like putting my opinion out there.
