Conor is a better fighter than Khabib, better precision, better timing, more powerful WAY faster and WAY more agile, can counter way better than Khabib (Khabib cant even counter), he can throw killer kicks (Khabib cant even kick) and he is better at Khabibs turf (Ground) than Khabib is at Conors turf (standup and striking), he was rusty against Khabib, all he needs to do is work on stamina/cardio and a bit on jiu jitsu he would rip khabibs head off. Askren is an extremely nice guy in real life. I used to live near him a few years ago and would frequently run into him at the grocery store and the gym. Never tried to bother him too much because he and his wife were out running errands and living their normal lives, but I did get a chance to chat with him after working out and we were both chilling in the hot tub/pool at the gym. Super cool guy.
Actually Ali seen a pro wrestler named Gorgeous George who was a prolific heel and trash talker. Ali studied what Gorgeous George was doing but took it to another level and used his platform to change the world. Ali used trash talk to psychologically beat opponents mentally and physically. Any real fight fan should watch the documentary Facing Ali. Nothing but interviews with Ali’s opponents. The only people who truly understands Ali’s greatness and what he did to his opponents psychologically. After watching that movie I came away fully understanding why Ali was truly The Greatest.
