I feel bad for askren. I didn’t and still don’t watch too much mma, so I never knew him before the masvidal fight. Seems like everyone just shits on him but he was great at the sport

He was never a "great" fighter but he won multiple Bellator and One Championships which is impressive he just never beat any big names

Askren should of retired at 20-1 after his loss. He would of been a great in the records. I mean 20-2 also is very impressive.

So Ben... Your plan was to take Masvidal down and wrestle him into a submission or beat him up. And Masvidal's plan was to knee you in head an punch you in the face until you were knocked out and stiff as a board. I'm not saying your plan sucked. But...
