Mal and Ben are arguing about whether to go to Avalor. Ben thinks Mal is going there to help Uma. Mal is trying to convince Ben that she is going there to help Avalor. While arguing, Ben touches Mal and the evilness from Ben transferred back to Mal. Mal thinks it's time she takes back all of the evilness from Ben. Ben thinks it will make Mal completely evil. Mal takes back evilness from Ben anyway. Both of them pass out.
Jay is trying to learn magic. He had magic all along, but he never bothered to learn it. Jafar isn't helping Jay, so he has to figure it out himself.
Ben wakes up and finds out that Evie rescued both Mal and Ben. Ben wants to become a villain. Evie wonders why. Ben doesn't care what he becomes as long as he is with Mal. Ben wants to become a villain if Mal wants to become a villain. Evie thinks helping out Jay is a good place to start.
Ben asks Jay how he could become a villain. Jay thinks Ben is too good to be a villain. Jay doesn't want to learn magic, so he asks Ben to teach him magic after reading all of the magic books.
Mal wakes up to realize that she hasn't gone back to her old self.
She only received half of her evilness. The other half is still inside Evie. Ben confesses to Mal that he wants to become a villain if Mal wants to become a villain. He says whether good or evil, it's important to him that they do everything together.
Evie wants Jay to help retrieve Sceptor of Light from Uma's place.

Elena: Oh no, Isabel. Gabe. Call Auradon for help. We need Mal over here right now.
Act2:
Ben: Mal, you can't do this.
Mal: Ben. I'm not doing this for Uma.
Ben: Mal, I don't have to be a king. Please. Don't do this.
Mal: You have to become a king. If it wasn't for me, that's what you would be.
Ben: Mal, talk to me. Why are you really doing this?
Mal: Aw.
Ben: Sorry. I forgot I can't touch you.
Mal: Ben, I will take all this back. All this evilness was mine to start with.
Ben: No. Mal. I don't want you to be evil.
Mal: Ben, I don't think you can handle my evilness.
Ben: Yes, I can.
Mal: No. Let me take all my evilness out of you.
Ben: No. Mal. No.
Mal: Ben. I'll take it all back. Give me your hand.
Ben: No.
Mal: Aw
Evie: Mal, Ben. Oh no.
Act3:
Jay: You never told me I had magic.
Jafar: Of course you have magic. You never bothered to learn magic.
Jay: I need to use it now.
Jafar: You are already using it. How do you think you were able to open every door? How do you think you were able to climb every roof?
Jay: I thought I was just being very athletic.
Jafar: No, son.That was your magic
Jay: Can I borrow your magic staff?
Jafar: Don't touch my staff. That staff is alive.
Jay: Aw.
Act4:
Ben: Ha.
Evie: How are you feeling?
Ben: Mal. How is Mal?
Evie: She is doing fine. What happened to both of you?
Ben: We argued. We seemed to be arguing about everything lately.
Evie: It happens.
Ben: Evie, how do I become a villain?
Evie: What? Drink this.
Ben: Uma told me something and I think she was right about one thing.
Evie: Being a villain? Uma is just getting inside of your head.
Ben: I can't let Mal do this alone.
Evie: Well. I guess if you really need a place to start, you can help Jay. He's at Jafar's place.
Act5:
Ally: Are you sure you know how to use it?
Jay: Um. No.
Ally: There are too many books to read here.
Jay: That's why I never bothered to learn magic. It's too much reading. Ha.
Jordan: Jay, stop pointing that staff at people.
Ben: Hello?
Jay: Hey, Ben. Maybe you can read all of these books
