I just picked up the ubass a week ago and this is my first song to learn. Your videos are super helpful. Thank you so much for posting.

Me and my buddies would always play this on our double bass back in high school and our teacher would get mad (Our own stairway to heaven). Now I'm learning it on bass guitar. So many memories from this wonderful bass line.

A tip: if you dont have got a 5 string bass it sounds better if you tune your bass to drop D and play it an octave down

Thanks! I just transposed it to guitar. Had to drop D for it tho. Set my fuzz tone all the way to bass and turned my tone knob off on guitar. BAM now my guitar is a Bass.... or at least sounds like one lol. Made a loop of it and then played a lead to the vocals! Fun! Thank you!

Something I'd like to see in some of these bass covers (and guitar ones), is a short explanation of what scales are used in the song. I was lazy for a long time and just learned the lines without taking much notice of where they fitted in the scale of things (did you see what I did there?). I can find them now but this would bring people on very fast.
