I've always really connected with the songs Ben has done. In every album, there's at least one song that yanks my heartstrings rather than tug on them. Brick, Magic, Army, and almost every song on Rockin' the Suburbs. It's cool to see the kids I've heard in song and seen in video growing up to be just as silly as their dad. I honestly can't wait for this new set to come out, but I hope it's not the last.
Man, Ben Folds is the best. I have yet to encounter another musician who is quite as amazing, clever, and relatable. I am so hyped for this retrospective album, keep the music coming, Ben!
This guy... is the Billy Joel/Elton John for my years. Although I am old enough to be a part of the latter half of Billy and Elton's careers, but what I mean, he's that type of writer. Well, he's better than Elton as he writes his own words... But such there's an honesty I feel with Ben Folds whether with the band or on his own. Saw him with the band in Birmingham (UK not Alabama) and they were fantastic!!!
Those kids aren't appreciative of having a really cool father who even wrote two awesome songs about them. Also, Ben deserves to have more of his songs be hits.
Its great to be part of the Ben Folds community. We obviously feel that his music is special and although we might be very different people we can at least share that! Ben, please come back to Toronto soon or at least Buffalo! But if you play in Asheville NC, we'll come down there for sure!! Thank you. JMC

@burpo in a year he'll be eligible for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame thats 25 years of making music, which he deserves to be inducted into, in my opinion. This is what he's done Ben Folds is 45 and I'm sure he'll decided to be done with playing music and won't try to hold on and just put out crap like so many others do. He'll know when its time to leave the building, but hopefully it won't be soon! ahaha

The pacing and interruptions in this video are beyond obnoxious. Honestly this is the last enjoyable thing I have ever seen or heard from Ben Folds. Nice to see his kids growing up, even if they clearly have no idea how incredible their father is.
