Eddie Vedder is a dear friend of so many!! When invited on stage, he performs their song in his own interpenetration but never tries to undermine or outperform the band. The only artists that dislike him are the ones that have never met him and the list gets thinner and thinner, if there even is a list anymore. Ben is awesome!
Watched this live in Melbourne many years ago 09 maybe.. Incredible concert Ben did about 3 or 4 songs with PJ 👏 eddie was drinking whiskey straight was absolutely amazing ❤🇦🇺
@@PeCo333 he was drinking he wasn't on drugs (to my knowledge) just drunk by end of show... but hey he was incredible still. I dunno about his drug habits haha 😆
This is pure class they smashed it out the ball park. This is real music not some crappy pop corporate bollox. Music from the heart and soul. Feel the vibe close your eyes open you6 mind and for a moment your fly. As beautiful as the sky
Just listened to another song by both but more recent. It’s so good to see that these men can keep a friendship and give it so much meaning by singing / playing together such beautiful music.
Sometimes I just feel like screaming these lyrics off the rooftops, there's so much emotion and raw power in the vocals. I can't think of many songs I've connected with so well. "How much difference does it make?"
Just amazing!!! I saw them play together at Lollapalooza 2007 first at Ben´s performance and then at Pearl Jam´s final set....I tought I was going crazy. The song itself is extremely touching. Log Life To Eddie and Ben.........
What a song... what a couple of ARTISTS! This two men are just amazing... inspiring singer-songwriters for every musician... Thanks for the video, and greetz from a spaniard in germany... Yeray
With all that said.... Ben Harper and Eddie Vedder are increadible musicians and I love all of their music. I also think they are good decent people. Rock ON!!!
First time i heard this, i downloaded it out of Mirc32 ! And learned to play it in the backyard, 17 years ago, and still play it when ever i want to tune my guitar. Those days were gold, long hair, wild hearts :)
OMG, the days of getting music on IRC!! Now it's even more awesome because you access just about anything with ease, but the thrill of acquisition back then was so cool...getting everyone's library lists and editing them down and then just spending hours and hours getting music.
Wow. I haven't watched this video since it was newly uploaded. I forgot just how amazing this performance was ... unreal. Those in attendance witnessed something truly special. Wonder if they realized it?
A special combination of friendship amazing talent and respect! What a performance i never get sick of it, did they ever release this version on an album or a studio version?
