Ben Harper at the Folk Music Center during an open mic.
This sequence is fom a CD you can purchase at the Folk Music Center, 220 Yale Ave. Claremont, CA.

It's the CD from the 07/23/06 open mic.
The Folk Music Center was Ben's maternal grandparents' music store. I think Ben owns the place now.
I've met Joel Harper, Ben's brother, when I visited the shop a few years ago, that was cool to meet such a nice guy :)
I really wanted to share this wonderful performance from Ben Harper (I emailed the Folk Music Center if I could put that online but didn't get any answer so I hope it's "ok"...)

@legodread ...Ben play this tune in drop D tuning, just drop the lower E string to D, that's it... he might also be a bit out of tune too, to fit his voice that evening maybe (Ben joue ce morceau avec la corde de Mi grave descendue en Re, c'est tout :-) I can make the tabs of this version if you guys want, let me know.

You're welcome. In the double album "Both sides of the gun" there are the tabs/chords for this tune. If you don't have it, send me a message with your email, I will send you a scan of it (I also have the original tabs actually if you want). I did a couple of transcriptions of Ben's tunes (#3, There will be a light solo acoustic) on ultimate-guitar (bojocatkite) but not of this one.
