This was the era of Ben Howard I was introduced to, back when I was 15, I heard my first ever song. A rare b-side from this era of his music 'Are Your Ready?' is one I've only found on RU-vid and is gorgeous. It seems like Ben Howard has released albums at every major inflection point in my life. His most recent album was made in the wake of health issues for him (including a pair of mini-strokes) and the album's release coincided with my grandmother's death (my last surviving grandparent at the time), so I've put it off listening to it, because I've been slightly afraid of the mourning I will feel. Maybe I will listen to it tomorrow.
