aaaah, my mistake. Didn't read it properly! Apologies :) I have watched three live recordings of this now, but I couldn't figure out more than "all around" and "easy to lose you these days" (?). Can you help me with it? :)
I feel like this is the end of an emotional journey that started with Small Things, where he felt overwhelmed by the darkness, overpowered by his demons. Now, with Murmurations, he still struggles ("oh, that's right. Nobody ever comes back...") but he's come to peace with it all ("oh well, living in the darkest hour"). It really adds something to the song.
Murmurations is, fittingly, the song of Ben's that has given me the most to think about and decipher. I've listened to it countless times and am still just bewildered by its majesty. I think you might be on the right lines though, thanks for the nod in some direction to working it out.
This was the final track of the encore in Edinburgh too, 4th time I’d seen Ben 2011-2019, a truly magical ending to the greatest concert I’ve attended x
I know I’m three months late but thank you so much for uploading this, I was at the Montréal show yesterday and a girl right in front of us fainted in the middle of this song (she was alright idk what happened tho) so we all got distracted, but when I finally turned my attention back, the whole stadium had their phone lights on and waving them and the added outro was playing and it was the most beautiful moment ever, but I missed half of it, so thanks to this I can witness it all:) merci!!
So glad that my little video helped to remind you good memories, feelings and even more. One of my friends didn't feel well at the end of the Paris gig, I stopped filming "Nica libres at dusk" and missed half of it too. She was alright after. We had a great evening and dinner together. Coincidental ;)
And none of them brings the love India would. She is just a person to adore by heart! The way she looks at Ben at times makes me think that she know's a hell of a lot about "his hells" and what he went/goes through. And sometimes she just looks so proud of him. :) They're really sweet, all of them!
Lule Znuk I could not agree more, especially in some of the early videos of them playing in Paris. There is a chemistry between her and Ben that can never be replicated. Also her improvisations were gorgeous and I wish the bond bros could have added to this new music. I love the new direction Ben took and just wish they could have all rode the wave together
Thanks for uploading, Heard this live in Edinburgh on 28th of June and was so much beautiful but I miss indie so badly, I hope she comes back soon, they both together are such beautiful!
The Edinburgh show was awesome! It was a special experience. Hopefully India will return later this year, she's on the recordings on the record but she took time off the tour as she had a baby.
I do think you can find another fan who filmed it. But next time I'll see him in Paris (very few chance to buy a good ticket for the one in two weeks, sorry), I'll try to catch it. ;)
