I love sultan Murad more than sultan Suleiman, because he was the one who restored the dynasty after so many years of rebellions while sultan Suleiman got empire from strong hands. Hats off talent was shown by Metin Akdulger.
@@asylben9735how will you see him in Ertuğrul he was born 300 years after Ertuğrul died oh and also Murad is a descendant of Osman Gazi or Osman I the first ottoman Sultan who was the son of Ertuğrul so Ertuğrul is the ancestor of Murad and he is the Grandfather of The Ottoman Empire
He really got into the role and brought the greatest,most powerful performance and character out of both series,yes even more powerful than Halits Suleiman(not saying Metin is a better actor than Halit of course) But..Murads gigantic immense stature is mentioned in every page of history and is a very important aspect of the sultans history but was completely ignored in this series,the guy was so large he had limp pains all his life,must have been atleast 6'3 while the rest were like 5'7,but here he is just average!It really bothered me lol!They could have also dyed his hair pitch black and make his eyes hasel.
I hate the thing kosem did with Murad,his own son....I literally had tears in my eyes while watching the death scene of Sultan Murad...may Allah grant him Jannah.....AMEEN😢

I think Magnificent century portrays Sultan Murad in a somewhat negative light. A bloodthirsty ruler who exhibits his power by imposing bans, the penalty of violating it of which would result in execution of the offender and many more. as always, most medieval rulers are like that. but he in fact was a great lover of art, poetry, literature and bridged a huge gap of which earlier rulers failed to achieve. and magnificent century comes up with this fake and made up character Farya who did nothing but to cause trouble, sow discord and enmity in the family and all sorts of silly made up stories of the palace. the sultan's policy was of course brutal in many ways. but I believe that in reality, he wasn't as bad as he is portrayed in the series.
I find the series version very likeable and relatable.He is just very flawed. And remember the real Murad killed innocent unarmed civilians in Baghdad,I hope the sources aren't accurate though I actually have no opposition towards his policy with alcohol and coffee as I hate both substances and hey if people are so addicted they are willing to risk death to drink then FUCK THEM I say. His brutality actually saved his empire and his people,he made the country rich and powerful again,he brought order.And by the mere age of 27-28 he had become one of the greatest sultans of all time and the last truly great before Abdullhammid II. Respect to his power and ability but not the person as we can't truly know what happened in history,I can't like and respect a PERSON that would propably invade my country and kill me if he was still around but I respect and admire the ruler he was.
Kanuni Suleiman is always hailed as the greatest sultan in ottoman history,very closely rivaled by Fatih Mehmet,after him it's definitely Yavuz Selim.But I will say Suleiman wouldn't be anywhere near what he was if not for the accomplishment of his father,he really had everything ready for him
