hosea 'glasses' patrick you are so lucky to have gone to his tour! love love his music. i found it one day and uncovered his whole album. LOVE HIS VOICE AND JUST HIM AS A PERSON!
Yup - I know those tears. Saw Ben in Philly last year. He blew me away from the first note (Bad Habit) on. Amazing on-stage presence and connection with the audience. Masterful talent.
Rosie clearly doesn't realize he was one of the stars of Pitch Perfect 1 & 2, and Book of Mormon. But that's okay, we know how incredible and successful our Ben is!
Rosie follows broadway/musicals pretty closely Im sure she knows, but he wasn't in the spotlight from Pitch Perfect or book of mormon as far as mainstream as much as he is now is all I think she meant
Me thinks you need to do JUST a lttle bit more reseacrch before posting. Rosie is a well know benefactor and afficiando of all things Broadway. I regret to tell you, that he was NOT one of the origainl starts of Book of Mormon
I’ve been doing this for 50 years... Ben’s control and fluidity through his range is remarkable... would love to hear Ben do something more “baritone-y” cuz it’s there... LOVE YOU BEN!
I saw Ben in DEH on Broadway and it was the best decision I ever made. I bought the tickets 5 months in advance and saw it 2 weeks before he left on a long weekend in college. Tears.
LUCKYYY!!! I saw the show, although very recently because I needed one close to my home town. Meaning, Ben wasn’t in it. I mean I knew beforehand, but I was still hella sad. Instead we got Stephen Christopher Anthony. He was AWESOME, but I know deep down that Ben would have been absolutely *phenomenal*
I can listen to him to sing forever. His voice is just pleasant on the ears. He doesn’t even have to run a marathon to get my attention, it’s just his tone and his passion
This has always been one of my favorite songs ... Ben Platt singing it is the best thing in the world ❤️ Blows me away every time I think it was written by the master, Bob Dylan ❤️
I'd listen to Ben sing from inside a bucket. He has the most amazing voice. Rosie showing a breathtaking lack of knowledge about the guy but Ben as sweet and humble as ever made it seem like he's only been hanging out in his dad's garage playing and singing his stuff. Love love love this guy. ❤
Woowoo I think she has the money/capability to make it better though, nothing wrong with people pointing out the flaws, maybe she will see and make upgrades
@@joshuadinan5512 Yeah, maybe. But as most are doing the live streams via a laptop/ipad/phone etc, the quality if not going to be great and then also factor in dodgy connections etc. Difficult to fix a dodgy connection regardless of money/capability, esp when EVERY person is also on the internet! But also, why not just enjoy!
Woowoo I did enjoy, but also it seems to be her setup moreso than his. I’ve watched other videos of her recently where the quality was bad so it seems consistent. All I’m saying is there is nothing wrong with pointing out something that can be controlled/improved
The whole Time Out Of Mind album is wonderful but arguably my two favorites are this and Standing In The Doorway. Bob Dylan's voice on that album is just so evocative and full of heart and the musicianship on it is second to none. Kudos to Daniel Lanois wonderful producing on it. It won Album of the Year at the Grammy's in 1998. If you've only heard Adele's version, please do yourself a favor and listen to the original.
love you man, came across you in that series The politician. now i listen to that "RiVER" at least once a day. it cools me down, This number is reminescent. Best of luck love you and love you Rosie
Oh my goodness. This song came out when a dear friend was battling a recurring ENT cancer. He was so frail that we couldn't even hug him during his last moments. Thank you Ben for singing this song so beautifully. It brought back both very happy and sad memories.
ahhhhh Rosie! Ben LOVE HIM, thank you *waves like a freak* :D Happy belated birthday...YOU LOOK GREAT Rosie! Love your haircut...take good care and thank you for doing this!
While Adele did record this song, it is not HER song... it was written by BOB DYLAN. (from Wikipedia) : "Make You Feel My Love" is a song written by Bob Dylan for his 1997 album Time Out of Mind. It was first released commercially by Billy Joel, under the title "To Make You Feel My Love", before Dylan's version appeared later that same year. It has since been covered by numerous performers and has proved to be a commercial success for singers such as Adele, Garth Brooks, Shane Filan, Bryan Ferry, Kelly Clarkson, Ane Brun and Nick Knowles. But please give the right person credit for this wonderful composition.
This is NOT Adele's song by any means!!! Came out in 98. It became mine and my husband's song at the time when we met in 1998. It came from a movie from Hope Floats with Sandra Bullock. It was sung but a couple people in the movie but came out as a single by Garth Brooks. With that being said, I DO love his voice!
Please donate blood if you’re not sick (I know that not showing symptoms of anything doesn’t mean you’re not carrying something, but please. It doesn’t matter). We need it so badly at work and people aren’t getting blood who need it and that’s a GOOD reason to break social distancing for a bit. PLEASE spread this and if you don’t want to, imagine that it’s you or your family member who needs a transfusion and would benefit from someone being generous. ❤️
Nice interview, but there is only one thing written above I have to correct. Make you feel my love, is not Adele's song, but a beautiful song written by Bob Dylan, so it is his song and not Adele's, however she did a great cover, it is credit where credit is due.
@@lerakyelpir Calm down sweetie. It's not that big of a deal. You're coming across as aggressive and that's certainly not what we need "in this terrible time"...
Im not sure its his mic because in Jordan Fisher's cover of For Forever it was skipping out too but when he was live on Tik Tok he was using the same mic and it was amazing. Maybe it has to do with the quality of the show
