Im Native American & grew up on my reservation, I did not get the memo I was a victim or oppressed. My grandmother who spoke primarily our native language taught me work ethic & drive. She literally walked 4 miles to work every morning because her alcoholic husband didn’t come home at night leaving her without a car. She walked to work in the dark, rain, snow, etc. I knew my challenges did not even compare to hers so I did my best to make her proud. I took college night classes staring in highschool & went on to get 2 degrees having to commute 3 hrs a day for years. I never once considered myself as disadvantaged. I woke up every morning & just did what I needed to do. It wasn’t until I went to university where I learned people of color, especially women, were “oppressed.” Had someone told me I was a victim & oppressed early on, I imagine I would have never had or kept the drive she instilled in me. This victim mentality is very dangerous.
It’s getting to be okay to have fun with the woke and race obsession with victim mentality now, I guess. I wouldn’t have looked to South Park to lead with this. It must be catching on.
@@HxldenRed Its ancestry of a group of people. So while incest is possible the more likely answer would be that its just an unrelated person from the same group of people as his other parent. Jews in Ben's case.
@@Chick87rh Ashkenazi Jews lived in small villages in eastern Europe for centuries, only marrying among themselves. There are certain genetic defects that mostly affect them because of this. Sephardic Jews (western and southern Europe) tended to travel more for complex historical reasons, so it was more common to marry someone of a different community, and they have fewer problems. But all endogamic societies incur in this sort of trouble.
I’m German, but I’m also 2% “African” So I went to San Francisco to get my million dollars and now I want a full, handwritten apology from all you colonizers 😂
Your point is understood, but it is possible that an individual’s particular genes may all be from one ethnic group, by chance. For example, someone black might have a white ancestor, but none of their genes made it into the mix for a particular descendant.
@jamesw1659 I just remember when Conan did one that came back 100% Irish and the geneticist or whoever does it said that literally never happens. And said the only way it's even possible was incest, which does make sense. Maybe not, I haven't done my own research, but its still funny. Especially when Ben talks about sullying his perfect bloodline with his wife lol

My mother's parents were from Poland. My father's parents were from Sicily. The people of both those countries were enslaved at some point in their histories so I'm 100% a victim. I'd like some reparations.
My DNA shows I 100% don't give a shit about feeding the egos of these alleged victims.play another record and take responsibility,if your life is shit,it's your fault
Fun fact. I'm 40 percent ashkenazi jew and I had no idea. Grew up catholic. My grandparents on both sides were catholic. Idk how. My great grandfather must have left the religion and saw all the jew hate and just never turned back. It's very odd and I have no answers
I like this light hearted side of ben he needs to keep doing these south park reviews. South park is ironically more accurate than the news these days. Legendary!
I found out I was 2% European Roma (Gypsy)… and I was feeling oppressed but then Ancestry corrected the percentage back to 100% Greek and Albanian and I feel better already.
I'm convinced that Trey Parker and Matt Stone built a time machine at the turn of the century and they've been checking in on society 20 years in advance for material
What people tend to forget is, when someone say their are 100% French, or 100% Nigerian, and they are actually from those countries, they are actually not 100% anything. Humans have been constantly moving around and mixing since the beginning of time. With the Americas, it’s just a similar phenomenon but a lot newer. It would make sense for some non-native Westerners to want to research. But at the end of the day, it’s been a long enough period for everyone to be referred to as the region they come from.. for instance, my DNA shows that I have family history in a perfect half of Spanish and French. Half of my ancestors who migrated West generations ago settled in both Mexico and America. I was born in America, lived in Mexico for the first 10 years of my life, and now live in the U.S. what am I? An American!
The DNA testing is not to find out what you are. You should know what you are already. It's to give you a hint at your ancestry. Most people have no idea beyond one or two generations where they come from.
Also something people forget is that the tests show you the DNA you have inherited, not your actual ethnic background. I.e. your mum could be fully English and your dad fully Russian and it might still say you're 70% Russian if you happened to inherit more of your dad's DNA. Over generations this hugely distorts your "ethnicity". Full siblings can get slightly or significantly different results.
This episode aired years before everyone started acting this way in real life. I watched a series of episodes all in order and they have all come to fruition. It’s like they literally wrote the future.
Bless your little black heart. Hopefully the evil non-coloreds will eventually stop oppressing you and pay you reparations for enslaving people who also have some family members that came from the same continent as the one Nigerian that's in your bloodline.

To be honest I don't think anyone is oppressed in the U.S.
I love what people get out of this test. I am 13% victim, I'm 21% victim, and I am 100% victim. Don Lemon should feel good about this video, especially when Don always pulls out his victim card, but Don Lemon pulls out many of his cards, like his black card, oppression card, LGBTQ card, Gay card, ethnicity card, white supremacy card, his best card is his victim card.

I did the test, I'm 99.7% Irish. Generations in this country and they all married 100% other Irish. I'm more Irish than an Irishman in Ireland. And probably a little inbred.
