He truly had unconditional love for Rey. He's never hurt her. His compassion is unconditional love as Anakin described. No matter what Rey said to him or did to him.
Yeah but well Rey loved him back. She could have killed him more than once but never did. When she sensed him she always came to him instead of running away. And when she almost killed him out of anger, she healed him and told him her feelings for Ben. I mean, she despited Kylo Ren but had a strong bend with Ben, because he never hurted her and protected her more than once. Even tho they are both the same person... She had unconditional love for him too, but shown differently cause there were issues, she couldn't show him with him having his way killing people xD. She stood against Luke when she heard about Ben's story, without doubting him, I found it quite strong
Just watched TROS last night: omg these two were beautiful 😭❤️ that SMILE when they kissed - that’s the first time Ben has smiled in the series and then they TOOK HIM AWAY 😭😭
He did what his grandfather could not do,save his true love. He loved something so strongly,so deeply he was willing to sacrifice his life to save the light. Read Romeo and Juliet. Same thing.
Exactly what I thought he finished what Anakin started he saved the woman he loved from dieing by sacrificing himself. Though I would love to know this is not the full ending of Reylo. But sure you don't know what they have planned for the next trilogy if the go ahead with it. Can only hope they have something planned for Ben and Rey to be together again. They are soulmates and each other one love.

Rey and Ben's love story is even better than Romeo & Juliet. They take the concept of star-crossed lovers to the highest level possible. As a dyad, they are connected literally across space and time. I didn't think it was possible, but I think the "Across the Stars" love theme applies even better to Reylo moreso than Anidala since they are literally bonded across the stars
i was in a introduction to shakespeare class last semester for my creative project i rewrote the ending to romeo and juliet that instead of juliet killing herself she leaves the tomb with benvolio leaving romeo's dead body behind

Guys Ben is coming back. My 1st reason is Ben didn't appear beside Luke or his mother in the end of the movie so he is not a force ghost. My 2nd reason is He lives Inside rey because of there force bond and Ben soul/life is Inside rey and they can talk. 3rd reason is The new story just can't came out of nowhere, at least it has to do something with them. Unless they do a movie about the old repubic or the rebels. (And Star wars is about hope so we all just hope for the best) [thank you love y'all]

World between worlds is where Ben is, search it ;) Edit:Better explain why I think it´s the truth. Disney obviously could have put Ben´s force ghost in the end but decided not to. Why? Because it would mean that 100% he could not return. So they left a door open for the future to be able to bring him back and seeing all this sad fans I´m positive that they will do something at least I have that hope. As a dyad of the force the two need to be in the same plane of existence, because Rey is in the real world Ben can´t be one with the force. Because he can´t be in the real world and can´t be a force ghost he is somewhere in between (world between worlds). He needs to be revived or Rey has to die too.
Leia was supposed to give her last force to Ben. His death after they kiss was edited. He was supposed to die, then come back thanks to Leia and kiss Rey. I hate Disney so much right now...

it was the only realistic ending for him... it was a parallel of the sacrifice anakin made for his son. sometimes people are worth dying for, and the fact that he died to save her makes the scene and their love that much more powerful.

Tell me if I'm reading too far into it, but the scene where Ben tugs the necklace off, Ben is wearing dark, surrounded by light. Rey is wearing light, surrounded by dark (which it was day, so the night was created). This representing Ben's inherent "badness" and his temptation to become good and follow the light like his parents, and Rey's inherent "goodness," tempted by her darker side and Palpatine. I was fangirling a bit during this moment because it seemed so obvious and wonderfully executed.

This movie was the best I have ever seen so far. Ben Solo should've not died, and Rey could've married him... We would never know what happened next with the relationship of Ben and Rey

I waited for REYLO for 4 years, since the first movie, I really hoped they would get together, and when they did in this film it took 4 seconds to made shock because of what happened next (I'm serious, it really left me blank for a minute. But, in my mind the movie did ends just after the beautiful first smile of Ben in the film. REYLO FOREVER IN MY HEART :)

Message to J.J. Abrams 1) Don't you think at least one of Skywalker family deserved happy ending? Anakin died for saving his son and destroy Palpatine which he failed. He only slow him down. Luke also died. Leia died. So Ben is last Skywalker and he also had to died? I know this should be the movie closing Skywalker line, but Star Wars (movies) is Skywalker. And with Ben you also killed any chance for any continuing. he died for his love and he didn't even get the chance to be with her? 2) My main obsession is Reylo so is there any kind of Alternative happy ending for them? This is so beautiful and perfect for them. I'm still so upset he had to die. But I'm glad they were able to finally be together, if only for a short time. And he died in the arms of the woman he loved. That smile though...that will haunt me for awhile. Just the wonder and what could have been for these two. It makes my Reylo heart ache.
Why does every beautiful love story have to end so tragically anymore? Can we not have at least ONE complete happy ending nowadays that isn't a Hallmark movie??
