HEAR MY WORDS! Ive been saying this for yrs. When Ben starts taking his check downs and dumping the underneaths, this offense is damn near unstoppable. Whats more, it helps builds bens confidence and accuracy. This was the most accurate ive seen him in yrs. He did it tonight and Baltimore wasn't ready for that, they never adjusted. The dump offs, check downs, and quick underneaths is what opened up the deep passing. Just praying Ben realizes why he was so successful tonight and continues to do it.

This is what Brady and Manning have been doing for years, idk why more qbs just have the presence and the conscious to check it down to open up the intermediate and deeper passing game, make the defense cover all 3 levels of the passing game, and defenses have a tough time covering, even more so if you have a running game which the Steelers certainly do. Good luck against my pats on Sunday, love watching the steeelrs play.

Hopefully the Steelers change their defensive scheme over the next week. We can't have any middle linebacker not named Ryan Shazier playing in that scheme. It requires speed to seal the outside run and to cover the linebackers and running backs on routes. Currently no players at the linebacker position can match the speed of Shazier. Additionally, they cannot leave the safeties in man coverage. They lack the technique and discipline to play in a risky defensive scheme such that the Steelers have been running this entire season thus far.

500 yds and winning 3 times. Nobody else has done that more than once. Al these other so called top QBs of this century threw the ball a lot more than Big Ben for the majority of their careers than Ben has his, yet he was the one to accomplish this. Says lot about how under appreciated he has been by both the media & NFL fans. Simply the most under appreciated great athlete of this century.

Maybe Aikman, Smith, and Irvin with the 90s Cowboys. They were impressive. Bradshaw was good in the playoffs, but his regular seasos were mediocre. Dude has like a 70 something QB rating. He threw a lot of interceptions and I don't think he was ever a leading passer. I think I read that Ben, Brown, and Bell would be the first in NFL history. I thought I saw it on ESPN Facebook. Not sure.

Big Ben is the only QB in pro football history to: (1) Win as many as 9 career games with a passer rating of at least 150.0. (2) Throw as many as 6 TDPs in TWO consecutive games. (3) Win a game with 500 passing yds and no interceptions in a game more than once and he did it 3 times. (4) Finish with at least 7.0 pass Y/A and start more than 50% of schedule games in all of his 1st 15 seasons in the NFL. I love my steelers and I get that Ben can’t put up 500 yards on every defense. But I just find myself watching Ben with a 50/50 mindset like half is blown away by performances like this but the other half just asking why this Ben Roethlisberger can’t show up more often. It shows when Ben makes great decisions and is smart with the football he is nearly unstoppable.
