@@NothingStopsDaA-Train-ie2xzDefinitely didn't forgot about him. Mikal Bridges been a great defender for some years now, and him and Ben is definitely the Nets best backcourt defenders. Also, Cam Johnson showed some flashes this season of his defensive ability. But with Ben and Claxton defensive versatility, able to guard the 1-5 pretty well, their definitely the anchors of the defense.
If Dinwiddie comes off the bench they could have a lineup of Ben, Bridges, Cam, Dfs and claxton. Thats 2 Dpoy level defenders 1 all nba defenders and 2 really good defenders. All 6,6 and up too. With the right gameplan they could be the best defensive team in the league.
The Nets have two DPOY Level Defenders on their team. Yes, they have juggernaut defense potential. Ben had decent defense for him last year, but if he goes back to being him then they might just have the most lethal defense in the league if you ask me.
Literally. Giving guys the work on this side of the ball while needing surgery isn’t talked about. Sad how the league black balls who ever they want to
this team could win it all if they didn't break it. 4 defensive guys around kyrie and all of them are versatile defender, 3 guys that is at least 6'10 tall and they have a lot of elite shooters surrounding two of the best iso players. like what?
Looks great! Unfortunately when you are trying to build a championship team and play within the salary cap what we see here is not worth 40 million per. Now if you want to exit every year in the 1st or 2nd round then go for it.
This was while he needed back surgery. Still had good games offensively. I think we’ll see more offensive consistency this coming season post injury and surgery
@@vPleadful The problem is even at his best you cannot build a championship team around him and pay him 40 mill. You don't have enough cash left over to pay the players needed to cover for his deficiencies. No team wins titles where the primary ball handler is next to zero threat to shoot outside the paint and is getting paid big bucks and that defines Simmons at his best.
@@TrevorEMayoYou were right when you said that you cant build a championship team around simmons but its the “No team wins titles where the primary ball handler is zero threat shooting outside” part that simmons makes up for in his game
Ben was fine before doc came Brett brown should of never got fired they 52 games with Brett 3 season straight and brought doc in won 52' again he couldn't coach Ben they didn't fit
