This is a parody of a TV show called Murphy Brown. The star of the show, Candace Bergen, was going toe-to-toe with then Vice President Dan Quayle. Kinda like a Twitter spat today.
It's funny in both the ridiculous concept of the show (at the time, Fox was still a new network and would try almost anything to attract viewers) and the utter stupidity of the controversy.
Dont give me that jive jack!!! They need to listen that charlies the best.and ya cant listen if ya cant hear..an ya cant hear nothin if your heads in a bag jack!!!
Was this a spoof of Murphy Brown taking a clip from Dan Quayle commenting on the Murphy Brown character choosing to be a single mother? The show treated it as if he had attacked a real person. I thought it was stupid. Quayle had a valid point. Does the timing of the episode work out well for my theory?
mrdanni I have 5 words for you and your closed minded opinion mate... IT'S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA. Greatest comedy ever made...and it's in America. This is coming from a British man.
