Wing (Jinjo Crew) flies in from Korea to battle Ben (Supercrew) at this year's Claws Out 4 held at LMU. Sorry. No special effects this time. www.clawsoutevents.com
I definitely think Wing took the win if winners were announced. Wing had a lot more variety and style in his 5 rounds from how he froze and how he incorporated his signatures. I saw Ben do about 4 bboy freezes in a row, and definitely used too many flips. I saw him mess up one of his flips during 3rd round? Both were definitely impressive as hell though.
@MrKorbske I don't like to argue on the internet, or try to start beef. So I'm just going to point out we're talking about bboy Wing. He's an international bboy, and previous Red Bull BC One champion, the most prestigious 1vs1 international title. Bboy Ben is known in the US as part of winning ABDC. In the bboy scene, Wing is definitely a lot more well known.
@madmanis12345 This is true, but he did offer more complete sets, and although he didnt rock the beat to a notable degree, he was still on beat. He's not that type of bboy. Some people, like wing are very musical and pay close attention to it, while Ben, at least in this instance, was focusing on showing that he had more moves than wing, because after a few tricks he wasn't able to show much other than his footwork.
ben seems to forget that it's a DANCE battle, not a trick battle while wing does full sets complete with toprock, footwork, and style moves; ben has sets that consist of a headslide, backflip, and elbowstand. that's breakdancing; not bboying
wingmills baby- wingmills- i have no idea how he does them- havent seen anybody else do em- its like you have to be wing to pull them off. crazy how he keeps his momentum without his legs out- that move alone has won him many a battle
good battle, pretty much even in every round, each had a few sketchy executions and some major blow ups,i would say ben had much more solid execution and creative transitions overall, but wing used a larger variety of moves and a few signatures. as far as a winner its too even,we'd have to see them at full force to honestly gauge them against each other,it looked like a light sparring match for boath dancers to me.
yeah that is true, he has some nice toprock and he's a dope powerhead he just had some really short sets with no toprock this battle and it kinda bothered me and yeah, wing definately won
Bens one of my favourite bboys- love his swagger- but wing has just too much arsenal- and he hadnt even dippedinto his bag of tricks yet. he looked like he was holding back from burning ben too much- to carry the battle.
Yeahhh bboy Ben reppin Las Vegas hard! And i Wing did pretty good this battle, good flava his 2000 was mad clean. Does anyone know the first song in the battle?
man this was very messy wing must have just been flown in or something, he crashed on a lot of his big combos, ben had some slip ups too but i think he recovered smoother much respect to both, still a good battle though crowd reaction was crazy bias haha
