Exactly lol. Pistons fans think pistons better team but they wouldn't have won if Shaq and Kobe initially feuding and Malone and Payton not wanting it. If Shaq and Kobe didn't feud and Payton and Malone played like when they where in finals when played the bulls then pistons would have gotten swept. But coulda woulda shoulda that was the Lakers fault and not pistons fault and they took advantage and pistons came to win

@@reredrumuoy Rasheed was definitely a hot head, but to be fair even if this was Ben’s first time losing his cool which it wasn’t, this still trumps every single time Rasheed has ever lost his cool on the court. This entire catastrophe could’ve been avoided if Ben Wallace would’ve been more like Shaq in this moment. Idk how old you are but if you were born in the mid 80’s or early 90’s then you remember hack-a-shaq. Shaq could be a hot head at times too, but I’ve seen him get fouled wayyyy harder than this by Rodman and he just brushed it off and got him back by making him apart of a highlight reel.

Man. Ben was that man. That deeeetroit basketball was so fun to watch. Living here in socal as a Lakers fan. Was so refreshing to watch one of the best defensive teams in the history of basketball '04 pistons held down great offenses to under 90 pts. They were on a stretch that season where they kept opponents under 70 pts. Plus my all-time favorite power forward was on Detroit Pistons, Sheeeeeed. So I was always keep an eye on Detroit Pistons low key fan. My favorite part about the beautiful game of basketball is defense. Offense gets the highlights and the spotlight. But everything happens on defense. Pro basketball I mean you can't hide nothing, everybody is going to know what offense you're going to run. Everybody know what defensive sets you're going to be in. Just got to come down to the little things that wins basketball games. All the defensive end. Team communication and the never back down willpower to defend your matchup 1on1. Scoring a basketball feels good but there's nothing like the feeling of grabbing a Defensive rebound or blocking a shot. And saying not all my watch. Damn miss playing ball. Ballislife

We beat y’all but good god it was a dog fight. I don’t think Wade is as great as he is if he doesn’t play the Pistons in B2B ECF. The hardened him him and made him grow up quick. If they didn’t beat the hall out of Wade in 05, the Heat would’ve gone vB2B and Wade would’ve been damn near eye to eye with Kobe and the Spurs dynasty would’ve taken a big hit. Man those Pistons teams were TOUGH and unselfish. Imagine if they had a Young Sheed😳😳. Would’ve probably averaged 22 and 10. The pistons and the 01-04 Kings were the most underrated teams of the 2000’s and both teams are probably top 5-7 most underrated EVER. This Pistons team was phenomenal. No superstars per se, but the best teamwork I’ve ever seen. Watching Big Ben swat a shot into the 10th row was as exciting as watching Vince Carter in the 2000 dunk contest. I don’t think there will ever be another team like this one. Not in this era of the NBA, anyway.

It took shaq 3 times just to beat ben wallace. 04,05, and finally 06. But remeber how many times dwade went to the free throw line that playoffs

Ben was a great defender but it's no way Shaq should have allowed him to guard him one on one. Buy them doing that they we're able to double and triple team Kobe and that's why we lost to the Pistons in the finals. And Shaq played versus a lot of mediocre centers during his time. Outside of David Robinson and Patrick Ewing he really didn't face another dominant big man. We all saw what Hakeem did to him in the finals

Never gonna forget Laker fans telling me Pistons should just stay in Detroit for this series and not show up. 5 games later….😅😅

The block was so iconic that people forget that Shaq's team became the NBA champions that year.

Rough season for a young group. Placing the puzzle pieces in order. Bad boys goin' to work. 'Bout to blow a rod. Detroit 🏀

04’ Pistons my first and only bandwagon team but I watched the draft and followed Duke and UK, I knew what was up

Lucky block because Shaq didnt wait for him to come down all the way from that early jump and went into his move too soon.

The fact that this guy was 6’9 and was literally able to bang with Shaq and limit him on offense and defense shows you how much of an underrated player he is, even Shaq himself said that the only dude he was scared of was Ben.

I think Ben was stronger than Shaq, but Shaq outweighed him by about 100 pounds.

That’s how legendary Shaq was and is. This block which was clean is super exaggerated

No whistle exactly. He was an offensive foul machine clearing defenders but zero whistles

This shows how great and dominant Shaq really was. Videos about someone actually blocking his shot.
